money for spotfund and not who really needs it
all this was, was a platform.. no advertising or sharing to help get donations. I think its funny that I was charge per donation and 3% when pulling out the donated funds that are VERY much needed and then ALSO ask me and the donors for a tip!! seriously stupid and easy money for Spot fund

We’d like to provide a bit more context around how the fees work. Credit card processors will always deduct the standard 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction. These fees are deducted before the funds reach us - we then distribute the entirety of the funds raised to folks like yourself.
These fees are laid out on the top of our homepage in a large graphic and also during the bank linking process.
Please note that credit /debit card processing fees are an unavoidable reality when processing payments online and are present across all fundraising platforms worldwide. It is important to note you are not losing out on funds you would have been able to receive elsewhere :)
As for the tips you mentioned, *spotfund is a 0% fee platform, meaning there are no charges to our organizers to use the platform, and we do not take a percentage of donations. In order to support our operations, we are funded entirely by the voluntary generosity of donors and organizers through optional tips.
This setup allows us to continue offering the platform for free to folks in need like yourself.

Good platform for fundraisers
I needed to set up a fundraiser and came across spotfund online. While reading up on the site and how it works, I decided to give it a try. The platform walks you through the steps that need to be taken to set up your fundraiser. Spotfund also gives you helpful tips to get your fundraiser seen by more people. I have only made one payout request and I received my funds the very next day. It was a simple and very easy process.

SpotFund was Great!
SpotFund was a significantly better experience then using other fundraising platforms. We attempted to use the other fundraising platform that is the most popular and ran into a bunch of discriminatory red tape and questions. Even though we answered all the questions it was like they didnt read our story or our answers at all. We decided to use SpotFund instead and had no issues!
