Even though it has an amazing sound the incompatability with velocity controls in my daw makes it so that even though it has a distinct and impactful timbre it isn't easily able to be switched between soft and loud
Very happy with this orchestra plugin. As with all spitfire plugins the quality of the samples are second to none.
Their Original Epic Strings is such a high quality digital instrument for the very low price they give to it. The sound is high-end and, since the day of my purchase, it has been easy to work with (it functions as a single complete instrument that covers all the strings' note ranges). The lots of dynamics/maneuvers allow for using the strings in all kinds of situations. A great purchase for beginners and pros alike.

Hello. I am a keen bedroom keyboard player. I have invested in Spitfire audio products from the "Originals" series, including Epic Choir/Brass//Percussion/Media toolkit over the past couple of years. Highly recommended. Recently, I added Epic Strings to the collection and it really opened my eyes (and ears) as to what can be done to fine tune the presets and tailor them to a specific project.

Sound wise excellent, I wish to have some more control over samples as well as a few more variations. I know it's cheap but it works for basic quality stuff. Maybe a bit more sounds and it would be perfect!
