I rarely write public reviews, but my experience with Spinny has been extremely disappointing and frustrating.
I purchased a car with the assurance that pre-identified issues — which were already identified before delivery and logged by the sales team — would be resolved by the post-sales team within 1–2 days. This commitment played a major role in my decision to go ahead with the purchase.
However, the reality has been completely different.
It has now been more than 10 days since I left my car at the service station, and I still don’t have a clear timeline for resolution. Despite repeated follow-ups, I continue to hear the same response: “no update yet.”
The biggest issue is not just the delay — it’s the lack of communication and accountability:
* There is no direct way to contact customer support; everything works through callbacks.
* If you miss one call, you have to restart the entire process.
* Calls often get disconnected or end without any resolution.
* Even after waiting for hours for callbacks, there is no proper follow-through.
Meanwhile, I’ve had to cancel multiple personal plans due to this delay. It’s extremely frustrating to be left chasing the team daily just to get basic updates, especially after paying a significant amount for the vehicle.
What makes this worse is that these issues were known before delivery, yet I was assured they would be quickly resolved. Now, even after more than a week at the service station, there is still no clarity.
If this continues, Spinny risks heading down the same path as companies like OLA Electric, where poor after-sales service and lack of support have led to widespread customer dissatisfaction.
Overall, this has been a very poor customer experience:
* Lack of transparency
* Poor communication system
* Missed commitments
* No ownership of customer inconvenience
I hope Spinny seriously improves its after-sales service and communication process, because this experience has completely eroded my trust in the brand.

I applied for my TN-registered car in Hyderabad to get evaluated by Spinny. Post-evaluation, I received a call from one of the agents stating that a NUC [Non-utilisation Certificate] is required for the NOC that I got from TN RTO, without which Spinny cannot proceed with the deal.
I believed them and waited a month for the NUC from the Telangana RTO after spending money on it.
Now, when I call them saying NUC is ready, they say NUC is not required. To the fact that, Spinny had given me a quote of 2.2L, which was increased to 2.4L if I confirmed fast. The agents were rude and did not want to listen to what I had to say.
Today I got a call from Abhishek, and I must say he was nice, gentle, and good at communicating.
However, Abhishek has now told me that NUC is not required, and I need to remove the NOC for the car from the Chennai RTO. This came as a shock to me, because I have been working on getting a NUC for a month, and now a new requirement has cropped up. Abhishek tells me that there is no way that the car can be picked up without the NOC being cleared [ as per policy ]. But yesterday and the day before, Sunny and one more agent called and confirmed a special price of 2.4L from the existing 2.2L. So, if Abhishek says that the car won't be picked up without the NOC being removed, how come another set of employees pitch a price and also give a special pricing.
While Abhishek is courteous and puts it on the agents being new. I am still wondering why Spinny has 3 out of the 4 agents who have communicated with me being untrained and giving wrong information.
However, in this whole scheme of things, I lost a full month and also money to get the NUC, which is not of any use according to Spinny.
I tried connecting back to Abhishek and was not able to do so, since the calls went unattended.
Also, I am not sure as to whether getting the NOC removed would serve the purpose or I would have any other shockers from Spinny.

I purchased my my car on 21dec25. After that I have call mr arijit sales person (a very unprofessional person) of Newtown Kolkata for the secondory key and fastag, Than I complaint many time regarding this. Than I visit a hub mr moinak tell me every spinny customer have to request him for any problem he is everything in spinny kolkata. After a weak I get my secoundry key,i visit a spinny Authorize store, mr rahul give me secoundry key he is a great person. After that after 4 month I ask many time for the rc, that told me don't worry u maybe get it within weak. After that I visit rto, than i found hsrp is not updated due to this reason I am not getting my rc. Than i complaint to spinny insta profile than "mr avishek" help me out for rc and hsrp. He is a great person. I would love to appreciate him.
I feel spinny should have a dedicated team for the sales after service for the coustomer, who may ask if they have any problem. Regarding car and the papers.

I, Jha Aniket Pradeep Kumar, would like to bring to your attention an issue regarding my recent vehicle purchase from Spinny (Rithala Hub) on 23 March 2026. The vehicle is a 2016 Honda City (DL3CCK8136), which I purchased considering its low usage.
However, within 5 days of delivery, I started facing battery-related issues. On the 5th day, your partnered garage (Rana Motors) inspected the vehicle and confirmed that the battery was functioning properly. Despite this, the same issue reoccurred after a week, on 08th April.
Yesterday early morning, the vehicle had to be towed due to a non-running condition. Even after more than 24 hours, the vehicle has not been returned to me. Additionally, I have been informed by the Spinny RM that the vehicle delivery is delayed due to it not being washed, which is highly unprofessional given the situation.
I am extremely dissatisfied with the after-sales service provided by your team. Such delays and lack of proper resolution are unacceptable.
I request you to kindly look into this matter on priority and provide a resolution at the earliest. Failing which, I will be compelled to escalate this issue on LinkedIn and other social media platforms.

I had my car evaluated by Spinny, amazing crooks, the evaluator, tampered with the car (verified by the manufacturer!) so that they could undervalue the car!!! Don’t trust these guys! My car finally had to be sent on a flatbed to the workshop and fortunately the car was covered under warranty!!

Guys please don't trust spinny they're big cheaters. I have recently evaluated my car which is in good condition and recently I spent 40k to entirely to repair each and every part. Initially i thought to keep it instead of selling but then thought to take yellow board vehicle for my brother by exchanging this. I got shocked by their price. They said the price even if i put my car to scrap I get more. It was horrible experience. Don't ever think of spinny for buying or selling cars. My foot also will not enter spinny of from now.

There are many positive reviews but I somehow had bad experience. I wanted to sell my car, I got the evaluation done. First they quote me 1.22L. I asked for little high amount since car was pretty new and running was less. So they agreed for little hike and they gave new price upto 1.35L, I said okay I'll talk with my father and call you by tomorrow. Next day when I call them, the executive said that I never quoted 1.35L, if you want you can sell your car at 1.25L. that's the maximum we can get you. This was wrong. I didn't sell my car to them. So be careful before selling.

The post-sales service of Spinny is pathetic. I have bought a Verna in Dec 2025 at a premium price, post which just after running for 3 months, the engine light came up, and post diagnosis they say that the catalytic converter is gone and we need to replace it costing 80K all while they mentioned this part was in flawless condition in their App. The biggest issue is we reported this engine light issue within first 5 days of return period and they dropped it saying it was just a minor sensor issue and light have gone now. This part is not under their warranty itseems. Very disappointed as a middle-class man with this company.

They are a bunch of frauds. They’ll first agree to the price you want so that you break all other deals. Get you to sign all the papers and then come up with some silly hidden problem with your car and try to negotiate again. This happened with my friend and he warned me against it so I was already cautious. Exactly the same thing happened. After me signing the transfer papers just one hour before I was going to send the car to their hub they said “sir aapke car ke airbag mein kuch issue hai”. Haah! The inspection was done 4 days before and they had to wait for it to the last hour. I can see this company going bankrupt like this soon. I also wish that it does. Be carefull whoever wants to sell or buy.
