way too complicated to get setup. where is the software, how do you use it. As far as I know I got nothing for my money...thought I was being scammed. Still not sure, haven't got my refund yet...will see?

Although the product is available is basic

Although the product is available, I think this is inferior to other services that are available online. It has few voices available en the basic version and I should get the pro version buy I am not quite sure to spend more money ont this.

It is not Speechelo, it is ScamChelo-Beware!!!

This company takes your money but then you can not log-in. I even replaced the password-NOTHING:"Failed to Log-In", I sent an email with no reply.
Only than I came to TrustPilot and indeed its a Scam!!!

So Far So Good

i been using speachelo for couple month, it's not bad so far some of the voices are very pro hope they spend some time fixing the other voices as they don't sound very real, i upgraded to pro but it didn't work i emailed they helped in the next day to get me in pro page, i haven't been charged for any
Subscription yet and I don’t mind if they charge small monthly subscription still worth it, I hope they try to be more genuine and tell people from the start what they have to pay and all subscription and payments appear on the speachelo website under customer personal page, otherwise it’s all good.

It was a bait and switch!

It was a bait and switch! Got an offer for $27 and it was advertised (from ad on YouTube) that it was everything included. One-time payment, no subscriptions, etc. Bull SH!t As soon I my clicked to accept the offer, I got blasted with a plethora of popups wanting me to upgrade since what I got was mainly very poor version of Speechelo with very little features. I immediately requested a refund. They tried to keep me by offering some great features, but I insisted on a refund. They did REFUND and the credit was on my credit card in a couple of days. But wait, there's more. Tonight, I asked to have my login account deleted. I was told that they would NOT delete my account, since they don't store my credit card number. But they still had my first and last name and my email address! The only thing I could think of was to log on, change my email to an Apple "Hide My Email" address and change my name. I strongly appose companies that do business like this.

How to get your money back from Speechelo

Saw many reviewers (paid) saying how good it was and
how easy it was to get your money back if not satisfied.
They advertised as US47 (Aus$70). I found they took two payments from my card total Aus$205. I asked for a refund. They wanted me to pay more. I said give me a refund. They said it will take 72 hours. Eight days later I again asked for a refund. Again, it will take 72 hours.It was a scam. Emailed Paddle.Net and they arranged for me to get my money back. Go for it.

The product that I received was inferior and not worth the cost

The product that I received was inferior to other services that are available online. I sent 3 emails to cancel and request a refund, BUT only received more notices to upgrade to their Pro version. I do not wish to upgrade nor do I wish to continue with their inferior product. My next move will be to contact my credit card and request my funds be returned. Beware this product is NOT as advertised.

Speechelo, Caveat emptor, this product is not as it seems!

This product is not as advertised, the basic "one off" purchase is firstly not as advertised, and in fact hooks you into a monthly Direct debit without you really being aware of this. Also, the product is again not as advertised lacking the quality and functionality one expects. The intention of getting you to buy the basic subscription is to inform you that you are in fact buying a much inferior version of Speechelo lacking many features one thought was being bought, BUT, you can have all of those and more if prepared to buy the Pro version for several hundred pounds. This is like seeing a car you like, paying the money for it and then realising that to get out of first gear you have to part with several thousand pounds more. I don't like being conned like this. Caveat emptor !

The video from the advert is very…

The video from the advert is very deceptive. when I purchase the software, I was redirected to a whole bunch of page to upsell me.
The initial price you see on their website isn't the end, you will have to upgrade for any tiny changes you may want in the future.

The voice also sound so robotic.
Extremely disappointed

Can’t login on the computer

Can’t login on the computer, only able to login on my phone once.. I downloaded the blaster suit manager

Payment done with no services provided!

Once the payement was done I’ve trying to connect with my account with no success. It’s been 4 days. Impossible to talk to a human and the chat bot it’s very limited. At least 3 of my messages was sent by Mail to speechelo but none of them was answered. After trying to solve my problem for over 4 days I asked for a refund. The message from paddle says that I will receive my money back in 5 days (I have all the print screens) but a message send few seconds later to mail mail says that my subscription is up to April 2033. I just want my money back because I was never able to use the platform. And after 4 days trying I do not want to even try to use. Horrible customer service. Not fair marketing. Not a good combination. Please send my money back!

I have found that there are many uses

I have found, that there are many uses besides promoting a business.
I use it on the email I send out for people that had rather listen than read. In the last month, my readership has increased because of Speechelo. People like it because some of my emails get a little wordy.
I have enjoyed Speechelo so much that I upgraded to the PRO version to get more options.

Good app for basic AI voiceover needs

I'm using the basic speechelo and find it adequate for my needs. There's only one female US English option, which is disappointing, but it works for me as I don't use it for all my videos. The software is very easy to use. You do get a lot of sales emails, but I've actually purchased Videly and Lingo Blaster and am happy with these purchases as well. These were one-time purchases so I'm hoping I don't have the billing problems some have reported. I would, however, recommend this app if you need an occasional basic AI voiceover.

Good Stuff

I gave four start and not five, because in my opinion only a few voices are good natural sounding, but a few is better than none.

I have used Speechelo software to turn my website into a talking website, and very happy with the results.

However, I am not happy with the limit of characters you can transfer into sound in one month and their system of setting your account back to zero is totally stupid. For that reason I don’t use it anymore and the company kindly refunded my money.

Cheap marketing approach

Speechello is misleading viewers with its ads. after you buy the subscription you have to pay for a subscription again monthly or quarterly to use pro features. these are not mentioned in their ads. their marketing approach is so cheap and third-class. Be genuine with your customers. I'm not recommending this.

Unauthorised Monthly Subscription

UPDATE

I'VE NOW UPGRADED MY ORIGINAL LOW SCORE FROM 1 TO 4. I've left my original review below as I do think a break down in invoicing process between Speechelo and Paddle created a mountain out of a molehill

HOWEVER, since my original review, and to Speechelo's credit, the company came back straight away once proper lines of communication had been opened. They have issued full refund - this is appreciated. Just to complete my updated review, I still feel that the products/services offered are confusing. It's not really clear whether you are purchasing product bundle to use, a subscription that may or may not be related to the product bundle, or simply a subscription.

There is too much confusing information on the sales funnel page. Sometimes less is more.

I don't think I'm stupid. I've been working with e-commerce marketplaces for over 30 years, in law.

The company's website marketing blurb is confusing. I thought I'd bought a few service packages outright, accessible via Speechelo's platform. But, I ended up being charged an unauthorised monthly subscription fee which I am now disputing via Speechelo's payment service Paddle.

Why can't reputable online businesses just keep their marketing simple stupid! I feel as if I have been misled, whether the company intended this or not! It's also not obvious on the Speechelo website how to cancel the subscription.

I'll update this review as this story develops.

Non-English speaker

I must admit that I am completely satisfied with the purchased program, and I only bought the basic version. But after reading the comments I'm getting worried - is this not really just a one-time payment?

Maybe I am satisfied with the program because English is not my mother tongue. For me, it's easier to write something than to say it. However, I also tested the text in Slovenian and I must admit that I was pleasantly surprised. It is true that every hundredth word is accented incorrectly, but Slovenian is not the easiest language. How can I send you a correction proposal?

I'm also a little worried about personal/professional use. Do I need a professional version of the program for my personal blog? Then what is the purpose of personal use - to listen to my texts myself?

Let's continue with the development and expansion of speakers in Slovenian as well...
