After reluctantly paying a small fortune without the chance to properly try them on, the glasses arrived—too late for his exams. Hope was lost here, but direction and purpose were found.

Sid realised that eyewear, much like shoes, should come with options that cater to different needs and occasions without breaking the bank or compromising on quality. I don't know how they could get the lenses so wrong

I was excited to receive my first reglaze order however both lenses do not match the prescription. I uploaded my prescription and even included the original lenses in the frames which could have been checked to see how off the lenses were that they made. I can not see anything through the left lens and the right lens is blurry at best. I phoned to let them know and now i have to send them back to get checked. I don't know why they can't just make them correctly in the first instance when they have all the information required. I will await my new pair of lenses and see if they have messed up the order again. I even included a copy of my prescription in the return box with the original lenses so they surely can't get it wrong again. Disappointing experience so far. I will update my review when I receive my updated pair of lenses.

I have used this company for 4 years…

I have used this company for 4 years and ordered numerous pairs of glasses as my prescription has changed. Single vision, varifocals and tinted. The service has always been fantastic and they offer real value for money. Specscart were so helpful when my…

Specscart were so helpful when my glasses needed adjusting. Replied really quickly to my email and got everything sorted. Unfortunately my glasses then got lost in the post but they sorted out a replacement pair straightaway. Also love the extra little things you get with your pair of glasses like the lens spray and the tiny screwdriver. Would definitely recommend them and would use them again

Going above and beyond

With so many companies advertising online it’s difficult to know where to start but take it from me if you are looking for new glasses and a top service try this business.
I opted for a trial pack of 4 frames. In reality I was only interested in 2 but they added two others to make up the pack. In the pack also came some sample lenses and a blue light pen which was useful.
Having selected my frame I went online and ordered with varifocal lenses. Having ordered varifocal lenses and not having PD reading they sent me a trial set of glasses I ordered and instructions to take a photo so the PD could be measured. Here I encountered a problem - I realised to my horror that the frame I had ordered was the wrong one- I had made a mistake when ordering. In a panic I emailed the company explaining what I had done and whether it was possible to change the order at this stage. I got an early reply from Sai with some guidance as to how to proceed. Not quite sure that I understood I called the company on a Saturday morning and as luck would have it spoke to Sai. He was very helpful and told me to use the sample frame that I still had and take the photo with those. He told me to hang on to all the frames I still had until he confirmed the photo was ok (this took 3 attempts but probably says more about my selfie taking).
Once he confirmed the photo was ok he also confirmed he had changed the order for me. My glasses arrived on Saturday and I am delighted with them. A week exactly after sending through my photo.
This company seems to truly care about their customers. They could quite easily have stood their ground when I made a mistake but they couldn’t have been more helpful.
Quality is excellent and price was substantially cheaper than my previous opticians who I had been with for over 30 years.
I would wholeheartedly recommend this business. Thank you Sai for making this process so straight forward

I have ordered a couple of times with…

I have ordered a couple of times with specstart.
Always speedy and great glasses.
This time I ordered 2 pairs of glasses, each with a different prescription, however I was sent 2 pairs of glasses with the same prescription....
Panic!! Called and explained what had happened....AMAZING CUSTOMER SERVICE...within hours I had notification that replacement were on the way and they arrived in 24hrs!!

Can’t fault this company

I have bought from specscart several…

I have bought from specscart several times now, and I have to say, its great value, BUT as they get bigger the systems are not keeping pace.

On two recent orders there were errors, the first time they sent me specs which were long and I requested (clearly) short.... they rectified at no cost, good, bar the delay (not long mind)

On the last order I wanted a direct repeat of the previous order prescription wise, but with reaction lenses... sounds simple, doesn't it. unfortunately not so simple, lots of back and forth, different prices Vs what I could get them for if I entered the order myself on their website, being notified they were sending me frames to try on so they could measure my pupils etc as they did the previous time (which, be warned is not simple, 10+ photos later they were still not satisfied enough to make the lenses, maybe my cameraship mind !), when the frames were exactly the same (bar colour so not required obviously)...

I think whats going on here is this, for new customers its simple, for existing customers, its not so simple, you have to do all the same as a new customer would, fine if you have a revised prescription, but if you dont, then it needs to be simpler...a simple would you like the same prescription as X order box would solve this straight away...

I wholly understand the risk of error, I really do, but some thought needs to be given to ease of use for existing customers... it's very nearly put me off buying again, not quite, but if I had the same issue again, I would likely give up and go elsewhere.

So my advice to anyone is use these guys, they are good....BUT my advice to the company is before you spend fortunes on youtube ads (which are good ads), sort out the process for existing customers.

Efficient, rapid, low cost, and fantastic quality

I've been using specscart for years, and have always been staggered by the value, quality, and incredibly high service. Great Quality, Quick Delivery
