I've completed both an apprenticeship and BCS Practitioner Certificate course with Specialist Skills Hub.

I have always found the team to be engaging and quick to respond to any query I have had. During all of my lessons, they created an informative and supportive learning environment where I felt comfortable asking questions and sharing opinions.

It has always been immensely interesting to hear from the broad range of experts they have drawn upon.

I've just completed and passed my BCS Practitioner Cert in Data Protection training with Specialist Skills Hub, and I couldn't be more impressed. Despite being an intensive 3 day schedule, the course was structured perfectly. Specialist Skills Hub founder, Beverley McGowen, clearly prioritises quality, bringing in top-tier instructors who have veteran DPO experience.

A huge shoutout to Kev, Laura, and Luke. Having instructors with proven real-world experience made all the difference. They turned what can be a sometimes dry and complicated subject into something that was both easier to comprehend and genuinely enjoyable.

Their experience based insights brought additional value for the exam which did feel a little ambiguous at certain points. We had plenty of discussions about those ambiguous situations during the course, which really helped me to build confidence for the test.

Bev and her team have provided fantastic support to our IG Apprentice since they started their studies at the beginning of this year. They provide a good mix of practical, hands-on support for assignments and projects, with technical expertise grounded in real world experience of supporting organisations like mine. The Specialists Hub have been a pleasure to work with on this placement and we would definitely consider using them for future roles!

I am at the end of my Data Protection and Information Governance Practitioner Apprenticeship with Specialist Skills Hub. The last 18 months all the team at the Specialist Hub have been fantastic in lessons, one to ones and feedback on essays. I have grown in confidence in this new specialist area, I will be looking into completing more course with Specialist Hub in the future.

Completing my Level 4 Data Protection and Information Governance Practitioner Digital IT Apprenticeship was a huge challenge, especially since being out of mainstream/higher education learning since 2002. Bev and my tutor Scott offered perfect guidance and support in helping me achieve this. I found the course content to be varied, interesting, well-structured and easily appliable to real work situations and scenarios, that greatly helped my decision making as a Data Protection Officer and aiding further understanding of applicable legislations. Also, a shout out to Rosie, who helped me gain my Functional Skills Qualification in Mathematics at Level 2.
I would highly recommend The Specialist Hub to anyone seeking to undertake an Apprenticeship.

Specialist Hub supplied me with the ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor Course from PECB. This online course walked me through the pre-requisite knowledge and techniques that I need to be an ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor. Through the use of online tutorials and tests for each topic area, the course has primed me to undertake future Lead Auditor work and certificates.

Really helpful in the honest advice given by Adam. Felt like he was genuinely interested and invested in my progress. Very personable and so pleased that I was contacted for a role and able to go through the process with Adam and theSpecialist Hub

I have recently booked on an e-learning course (ISO27001 LA) with The Specialists Hub to help me out with a certification. The team were very supportive and I found the material and learning platform to be helpful in preparing for the exam. I have already booked my nest course with them and recommended them to others.
