SpeakON is a MagSafe AI voice button for iPhone, a small physical button that turns the way you talk into ready-to-use writing. When an idea strikes, press it and speak. Your words come back as clean, formatted text, placed straight into the app you're already in, from email and messages to notes and chat. There's no app to open and no screen to unlock, and because it captures your voice faster than you can type, you keep the thought before it's gone, even with your phone locked, offline, or on the move. It records on the device and syncs later, so nothing slips away. SpeakON does more than capture speech. It strips out fillers and backtracks, turns rambling into tidy lists, and adapts your tone to fit wherever you're writing, so you sound like yourself and not a robot. It translates into 12 languages, learns your own slang, jargon, and name spellings over time, and lets you reshape any output by voice, with no keyboard needed. It's built for busy professionals who think out loud and move fast, from founders and sales teams to consultants and creators, and really anyone who would rather talk than tap out a message on a phone. The SpeakON device is a $129 one-time purchase.

Founder

I've been using SpeakON for a few weeks, and it has gradually become part of my daily workflow.

At first, I thought it was just another voice-to-text gadget. But after using it for emails, Slack messages, WhatsApp replies, and quick notes, I realized the real value isn't transcription—it's reducing the friction between having a thought and getting it into action.

The hardware is simple. Press the button, speak naturally, and your words appear as clean text on your phone. What surprised me most was how much faster it feels than typing, especially when I'm walking between meetings or commuting.

The AI formatting is also helpful. Instead of getting a raw transcript, I usually end up with something that already looks like a message I can send.

It's not perfect yet. Occasionally I still need to make small edits, and there are situations where typing is faster for very short responses. But for longer thoughts, follow-ups, and note-taking, I've found myself reaching for SpeakON more often than my keyboard.

What makes it interesting is that it feels less like a recording device and more like a new input method for the phone.

Looking forward to seeing how the product evolves.

Problem resolved, but not without headache

UPDATE:

Customer service reached out to me 3 days after my initial email. Their return policy was so restrictive that they initially told me I couldn't return the item so I had to file a dispute with my credit card company. They finally caved and offered a refund but not until after they sent me a laundry list of hoops to jump through which included providing photos of the inside and outside of the product and packaging. Finally received resolution a week after the order was placed. They definitely set up their returns process to be so prohibitive that you are not inclined to return anything.

ORIGINAL:

I ordered this product by accident and asked for the order to be cancelled but received no response. Finally it showed up and they are refusing to take it back. This is a Chinese company with a warehouse in Ontario, CA. Customer service is terrible and they are virtually unreachable.

Hi Kamron, I'm really sorry this whole return turned into such an ordeal for you. Honestly, when we first started out, we didn't think our return policy through well enough. After you and other customers raised this with us, we've since updated our return policy to make it simpler and fairer. Our support was also slower than it should have been back then, and that's on us too. Now we always respond the same day on any working day.
I really wish all of this had been in place in time for your order, and I'm sorry it wasn't.
Just so you know, we're actually a company registered in Singapore, and we have two warehouses right here in the US, on the East and West Coast. But wherever we're based, no one should have to go through what you did.
You shouldn't have had to go through your credit card company just to get this resolved, and I'm sorry it came to that. I'm genuinely glad you got your refund in the end. If there's anything still not sorted out, please email us at support@speakon.app and we'll make it right.
