Real close to what I needed
I finally found a voice clone/TTS that is affordable and works well. It's not perfect, and an old, no-budget guy like me can't afford to pay big bucks for this stuff. I'm quite pleased with what I see at Speakatoo.

Some excellent voices, but software performance a bit random
I found a few excellent voices. The working of the software to access those voices is a bit random - even if I do the same thing, I get a different result, especially with SPEED. I had to do workarounds to get the results. End results were very good, even though I had to adjust them. The EQ frequency of the voices is clear.
