Dealing with this bank is not only painful but absolutely annoying especially when you want to open an account. Sometimes you have an impression the right hand doesn't know what the left hand has!! Okay so the bank take your details etc then says you will receive a message next week,wait for it, you will get old waiting! Then calls and again the process changes. Whatever they write on their website is an absolute nonsense!! They don't follow those steps. Gosh I could go on and on! Didn't know the so called developed country could be worse that what is called "third world" . Total SHOCK!

I am happy with sparebank 1! The service is easy to use, I can do everything I need in the app, they sent me a replacement card super fast when I lost mine, and they offer both a mobile app and website that I could use in English before I got to understand Norwegian. When I opened my account 3 years ago, it was the only bank where I could get a bankID without difficulties and the manager was nice and explained many concepts I was unfamiliar with, being a newcomer to Norway. I also found they have good standing on environmental and sustainability indices. Very glad to be a customer!
