Just stayed at Cottons Hotel and Spa. Apart from the sullen welcome on arrival, the level of service has been dreadful. Had lunch ordered a caprese salad which came with tomato , burratta and avocado , only there was no avocado. When we asked where the avocado was the chef said it came in the sauce. When I showed the menu they agreed there should have been avocado , they then bright some almost frozen avocado . We also had a club sandwich . Totally dry and it was difficult to find the chicken in it.
This morning there was no yoghurt at breakfast. When asked they said that they had been busier than expected and had run out. Surely they know how many guests they have staying .
Overall a very bad experience. If you want poor service and food, this is the place for you .

Perfect from check in to check out, staff were lovely especially Peter and Laura, the food was delicious and prepared with quality fresh ingredients, bed was wonderful and the breakfast was amazing, the hotel is faultless and for such a large hotel all the personal touches are present.
I recommend Cottons Hotel and Spa without hesitation and will be returning in the very near future.

The 5 stars are for the wonderful staff who had to deflect numerous complaints from a guest. Disappointed no Sunday roast stopped last year and the only side salad was beetroot. To allow spa guests to dine in robes in the restaurant was surprising. Been coming here for 60 years.

Aztec hotel and spa… Apart from the other lovely staff there was one man who I think was a manager behind the reception, well the way he spoke to his staff was absolutely disgraceful.

Stayed at Cottons hotel and spa, Knutsford in July 2023 with my family. Misinformed by staff about DBB package and as a result over charged by thirty quid. Explained to the duty manager but response back was very poor. Would advise other customers to avoid... See the other dreadful reviews by other guests.

I stayed at the Aztec hotel and spa Bristol West on the 12th February with my partner and 2 month old son, we had booked a night away as a birthday treat and found it so outstanding that we booked another night. The room facilities were incredible, they had everything you could need, great facilities for a baby too. Had breakfast the first morning which was amazing, staff were very friendly, especially Anca who was very friendly and ensured that everything was ok and offered to take a photo of us when we were taking some of us between us without hesitation. We had an evening meal in the bar on the Monday night, the filet steak was amazing and the waiter was great (unfortunately we can’t remember his name). Full use of the spa which was great and my partner enjoyed using the gym. I booked a treatment, my massage and spa was amazing which was done by Giada. Reception staff were always helpful, especially Kennedy who helped when we wanted to change rooms to have a bath and help to track down a lost shirt! Overall incredible experience, will definitely be making a return and will recommend to anybody to pay a visit.

Each and every visit to Aztec West Spa & fitness has been truly amazing! Unfortunately their prices are rather high for me so Im not a member but it is a real treat when I can manage to go on single entry basis. Despite being expensive (well it is 4star after all) I definitely recommend it. It is beautifully maintained/renovated and so clean. The staff are very helpful and professionel even in appearance. The food, the selection, the service and the atmosphere are all lush, a pure pleasure. ^_^
