Bad experience with customer service

Bad experience with customer service.
They cancelled my item iust because i didnt pick it within 7days.
They didnt contact me by any means of connection to notify me before cancelling the item. I bought the item, i paid.. means its mine, they dont have the right to cancel and refund the item. I called them and i asked to give it to me before they do the refund, yet they said this is the policy, and after the call i received an email "your issue was solved" .. they are careless, very bad service.

souq sucks

souq sucks! That’s why we are all here writing our reviews & complains.
-souq asks to review items, but when I do it says “it will Not be posted as it looks like a complain !”
-Cst service has Poor English, UN-willing to help & not professional
They only transfer me to a survey if I’m happy, but if I have a complain or problem NOway I will be transferred!!!
-What kind of company doesn’t allow CST to submit reviews on their FB group/google
Are u seriously considering developing ?!
-Souq appears in google search results, but when u visit link it says item not available

do not buy anything from souq.com

do not buy anything from souq.com, even after an amazon company they do not provide any buyer protection, recently i purchased a mobile device and i got a defective item, when i returned the item souq did not accepted it and i end up using a defected mobile. the customer service is really bad, the after sale support is nil, do not believe the warranty they offer for 2 years, when a real issue come up they will not support you.

Horrible Experience!!!

Horrible Experience!!!

I have purchased a refrigerator from Souq.com. Item was damaged and I requested a refund that my item is eligible for. Since 2 weeks I have been following up with Souq.com but they just ignore my request and not willing to fulfill their responsibilities.

First of all, I would like to highlight that souq.com sells defective items. Second, they are not willing to abide refund policy.

Very bad products

Very bad products, and service is non existing.
This is a proud Arabic amazon company.
Like them, its cheap bad quality, and after the transaction, they don't care about you.
Even though you have closed your account, they will write emails to you with "good news"...
Stay AWAY.

super bad!
they make you pay extra to get your item delivered on the next day , next thing you find out that they didnt deliver the items, upon checking , they say " we visited your location and no one was there to pick the shipment "
well, i had been at home all day long . Customer service representatives are unable to answer anything because they have an outsource delivery company .
in short . buy from them if you're willing to receive unreliable customer service, wrong timing , delayed shipments and most of all higher blood pressure.

very cheapest services in UAE

very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very bad bad services. i saw very cheapest services in my life but not that type. on 3rd of feb 2019 i ordered a device & today when i comment about that its 10th feb 2019 but still i didnt receive the order even its not shipped. actually this souq.com they are not be able to this 1 star but actually this is a option for the next step so that why i give them this 1 star. thank you.

Horrible service

Horrible service. Extremely unprofessional I can’t believe they are part of the Amazon network. I made an order and got an email about the delivery date. The delivery person contacted me on Jan 23rd to make the delivery and it was never delivered. Since then I call every day and they say it will he delivered the next day for 7 days. Then they called me today saying seems like your shipment was lost so we canceled the order. If you still want it make another order !
Never use them again

horrible service

horrible service! I placed an order and paid with my card and asked for my address to be changed, but they said they cant do it and asked me to cancel the order instead!!! absolutely horrible!! please order somewhere else!!! It's the first time I encountered a company that encourages customers to cancel their orders instead of looking for solutions to their problems!

I made as order on November 22

I made as order on November 22, with an expected delivery date of December 1st.
I waited at home all day for this order, and continuously tracking the delivery. At around 3:30pm I got a text message saying that my order will be delayed by a day. When I called customer service, I was told that their "warehouse was full" and that my delivery will be delayed by 48 hours.
I'm not being given an exact time for delivery, and I have no one at home to accept the package but myself. My time was wasted today, and I expect to waste more time accommodating to their bad scheduling. Very disappointing and unprofessional service.

Constant flows on the delivery services!!!

I had 2 delivery issues in 1 week with Souq. I cannot believe that a company that has been acquired by Amazon does not live up to the same customer service standards. 1st order was never delivered, when I called the courier service to follow up they said they will check, never said they will call back to keep me updated. The next thing I get is an email that my orders has been returned to Souq and I got a refund, no explanation whatever. I called Souq and they were not able to explain why, had to place the same order again. 2nd incident was when I for the call from another of their delivery companies saying they cannot deliver anymore in my area and I need to go pick up the item from Al quoz from their delivery centre. I got the same answer from Souq customer service. They told me that they cannot make any changes in the system about the delivery address as this will cancel right away my order. How is it possible that the website does not alert they do not deliver in the area and how is even more possible , knowing the problems such a issue would cause that they did not take that in consideration and offer to change the delivery address for the customers??? If shopping online means delivery why would I but something online if than I need to go to pick it up myself?? Like that next time I can go and buy it from the shop as there is no convenience in the service, not to mention the anger when you are confronted with such customer service. Not to mention the same day delivery option is never the same day delivery. Stop over promising and under delivering. Your standard are very low for an international company with such reputation.

The good experiences outweigh the bad overall

The good experiences I've had with Souq outweigh the bad overall. It really depends on the customer service advisor you get. Some are just awful: clueless and/or lazy. But, when you get a good advisor, they can resolve your issue instantly. My biggest bane is the collection centre option - sometimes they will only offer one in Fujairah when I'm based in Dubai. Surely Souq run delivery trucks between all their collection centres?!

Very very unsatisfactory customer service

I have been a customer of souq.com in the last 3 years... and occasionally I would buy things that I needed and find reasonable priced. But this year is the worst time that I had experiences with them that are truly unacceptable for customer service. In a period of 3 months, some orders that I have paid for were cancelled and I was not even informed. I had to send them email when the items are not being delivered to me after 1 week. In one incident I ordered for 7 items and they delivered only 6, when I asked them through email --- they only replied to me after several follow ups that they will return the amount in my souq account so that I can use it to buy another product. It was only around 60aed I guess... so I had no choice but to use it and purchase again. But other incidents, I complained for an item that was deceiving in the website. They asked me to return the item so I gave it to the collecting courier and they told me they will return my money but in the last 3 months they did not return my money and I made a follow up many times... after a month of following up. Nobody answered me on that anymore. Another item was cancelled and I was never informed about that. Only wen I filed an online complaint. Again they informed me that they cancelled the order because they can not supply the item, and did not return my money. They do give you an authorization code for the refund, but for my bank where the debit or credit card was tied with --- their authorization codes are useless. Because no money to begin with was being returned. Customer service in that company is very unsatisfactory to the point of unacceptable because they never called. Even if you email them to please call you back, they will not. They will only answer you in the 1st 1 to 3 times you follow up refund or file a complaint. And their email was never really there to address your actual concerns. They even sometimes give you inconsistent and obviously wrong answers or advice to your complaint or follow up. They don't care about the money the customer lost nor make an effort to gain your confidence again to their brand.
