Avoid them, when arriving on site they will not call you or use door bell like normal person, instead they will be using horn to disturb all residents around. Then on friday evening instead going home on time you will be waiting for their "wait and load" skip to be collected because driver decided to do another job meanwhile and left the skip in the middle of front gate so we can not shut the front gate and secure the site for the weekend. Worst experiance i ever had

Ordered a skip on line which was delivered promptly the following day, and collected promptly on collection day. Very efficient service with good communication. Would highly recommend and use again. Very impressed.

Their driver pulled up behind a woman who was trying to park outside her house. He blocked her manoeuvre and then got out the van and was rude to her. She was a woman with a toddler and the guy was aggressive then told her to move and put a skip outside her house. When asked he didn’t provide any documentation or permit for the skip and there was no parking suspension signs. Awful behavior - avoid!

Brilliant service from Sortera. My skip arrived exactly when it was due (with a text to let me know they were on the way). The delivery driver was very careful and helpful. It was so easy to book and a really reliable service - thank you!

Unpredictable and unorganised skip company. You expect Sortera after purchasing multiple skip companies in London to be huge and deliver skip in time but they are the worst.

I had 3 skips booked, and very limited time as is next day after the other one. Instead, they booked me for all-day when it was meant to just be morning as I won’t have time to fill a skip and than expect another one tomorrow.

Also they can’t do “anything” which basically means “we don’t care because you paid anyways so good luck buddy”.

You want unpredictable, unorganised and crap support team? Than Sortera is your one stop company to help you get there.

Just avoid, there are other skip company which would do a better job.

I work for a construction company, and we recently started using Reston Waste skips. However, we’ve encountered multiple issues — not just one, but several.

On one site, the collection driver said the skip was too heavy and refused to take it. Yet another truck came later and collected it without a problem. We were charged for both attempts.

On another site, I requested a skip collection and have been waiting for two weeks now — nothing has happened.

At a different location, the works were completed, but my clients had to wait a week and a half for the skip to be taken away, despite being told it would be done sooner.

On yet another project, we booked a collection and no one seems to be in a hurry, even though I made it clear that people are waiting for the skip to be removed so that the driveway work can start. Workers are sitting at home waiting for this to be done.

I’m now moving away from using Reston Waste and would not recommend them. It’s impossible to plan work properly when skip collections are this unreliable.

This was my first experience of skip hire and the staff at Reston waste made it stress-free. Everything was explained, the drop off and pick up went smoothly and I was able to contact the office with questions about what can go in the skip. Thank you everyone.

we are still waiting for a collection, have now had to close the site for 9 days. Promised to collect within 5 days. Reston have gone downhill fast. Used to be good. Now to be avoided.

Paul lifted and put the slip exactly where I needed it. He was pleasant and cheerful - what great customer service from all your team. You will remember I was close to tears as the builder plumber and flooring guy were arguing! So thank to all of you.
