We love how the photos turned out. Our photographer was amazing, who captured exactly what we were looking for. We were able to observe the shoot via Google Meet and answer any questions the photographer had, which worked out really well. The chosen model was great as well.
We are absolutely thrilled with how the photos came out — they are currently being displayed on TVs across our company. Totally recommend!
AVOID! Not worth it
We had an extremely disappointing and frustrating experience with both the platform and the team.
1. The props we specifically requested were ignored, and different props were chosen without our approval.
2. The groceries and ingredients we asked for were not used, even though they were purchased.
3. The team was disorganized and poorly coordinated. Team members did not communicate with one another, and we had to step in and ask them to coordinate.
4. We paid for a stylist, but it is unclear what role they played or what value they provided.
5. There is essentially no customer support. There is no live chat or phone support, and emails are not answered until the following day.
6. Our shoot date was pushed back and then mishandled, forcing us to look for a different agency or photographer. This unnecessarily delayed our entire project.
7. The website is unintuitive and difficult to navigate. It’s unclear what to expect, how to communicate with the team, or how the process works. There is no direct line of communication, only a generic support email that goes unanswered, and phone numbers that lead nowhere.
After raising these issues, they refused to issue a refund despite failing to follow instructions or deliver what was promised. They even asked us to pay for another stylist to redo the shoot, even though the mistakes were entirely on their end.
Overall, I would strongly recommend avoiding this service and working with a local photographer instead. The image quality was only average, and we didn’t end up purchasing any photos because they weren’t usable. The experience was not worth the stress or frustration. Once they take your payment, support disappears, and customer concerns are ignored.

BEWARE OF USING SOONA This company’s ordering process is extremely misleading. I paid nearly $1,000 for what was presented as a 16–25 photo package with a human and dog model. I hand-delivered my product to their studio, confirmed details in person, and spent 3 hours attending the shoot online (which they cut short when the dog didn’t cooperate). When it came time to select photos, I was shocked to learn that Soona charges $39 per photo in addition to the $1,000 already paid. The checkout flow strongly suggested that the 16–25 photos were included, which is why I agreed to the price. I emailed customer service several times to resolve this. The only thing they offered was one photo. The entire experience was misleading, frustrating, and unprofessional. Save yourself the stress, there are far more transparent and reliable companies out there.

The photographer really took the time to understand the vision for the shoot, nailed every shot I had in mind—and even captured a few I didn’t know I needed, which ended up being some of my favorites. UPDATE: So Soona has responded and I am not surprised to see them attempt to flip the script to suit their incredibly false narrative. I sat during that joke of a photo shoot and was very direct regarding my utter and total dissatisfaction, not mincing words when I expressed how utterly disappointed I was with the quality of the photos they were sending me as the shoot progressed. I told them the food stylist was terrible, the photo quality was terrible and the entire experience was such a gross let down. For them to now attempt to cast a negative light on me should tell you something about how this outfit operates. I will continue to tell my story to save others the same experience and they can continue to lie about what took place all they want.
I am still reeling from what turned out to be an absolutely horrific experience with this company that I am convinced is able to bury a lot of their negative reviews. I believed their hype after seeing all their ads about how amazing they are only to find that they have absolutely NO clue about how to conduct professional photoshoots. I sent in 8 boxes of props, paid for hundreds of dollars of food, a stylist and spent a considerable amount of time curating every single detail. I could not believe the quality of the food styling and pictures they were sending me as the shoot took place. I am not exaggerating when I say a ten year old could have done a better job with the food styling. Every picture was a joke, I was literaly in tears. All my hard work and time leading up to this shoot was all a waste. At the end of the shoot, there were two pictures that were "usable" and they weren't even that great. They refunded me for the food and the stylist however, they made me pay for the only two pictures that came from this miserable experience and those were WAY overpriced. This is company that lies to the public. They are incompetent at best and I regret every having had to deal with them.

Exceptional Quality and Value, Active Involvement Required
I have used Soona to photograph 13 different products for my e-commerce business, and the experience has been exceptional from start to finish. Their quality and value are outstanding, but success with Soona requires active involvement in the planning process.
To get the best results, I recommend creating a shot list, style board and framing/posing recommendations ahead of time. I personally put together a Google folder with inspiration images and product poses, which helps the photographer capture exactly what I envision.
Pro Tips for a Great Shoot:
✔ Add a stylist – It makes a huge difference in elevating the final images!
✔ Plan enough time – Even 12-15 photos can take 4 hours, so make sure you are scheduled appropriately.
✔ Hire a model if needed – Hand models and full-body models are worth it, especially for products where buyers need to visualize scale, size or usage.

My only regret is that I didn't try Soona sooner! I have been following their IG for years and was always interested but thought it would be "eh" quality or really expensive. When my photoshoot fell through I was in a pinch and decided to try them on a dime. Soona fully exceed my expectations so much so that I booked another shoot before my next round of product was even ready to shoot! We are gearing up for my second shoot in the next two weeks and I'm excited to try Soona's video services as well. The customer service is top notch. Highly recommend!

Headshots were outstanding
Soona did my headshots 3.5 years ago and I loved them. When I needed new headshots again, I made a point to wait until I was back in Denver (I live in Seattle now) so I could redo them with Soona. It was well worth it!! I had so much fun in the session, the photographer let me try out three background colors and a few outfit changes. And the resulting headshots got me lots of compliments at work and from my professional network! My mom loved them so much she asked me for a print copy for the mantle.

Bad photos
I tried this service based on the convenient model but ultimately what mattered to me was the quality of the photos and unfortunately they were terrible. The lighting was completely off and they didn't look any better than my iPhone photos. Then when the photos went to editing, they brightened them but gave them a reddish or orange tone that was not the color of the items I sent. Ultimately it was a waste of time and money for me. They definitely aren't very good a the photography part. Also, their policies aren't very customer friendly. I provided my availability for the shoot in advance and they sent me an appointment 100% outside the available windows. When I tried to change it, even though they already knew I was not available during that time, they told me I could only change the appointment once (even though it was many days away), otherwise they would charge me. I definitely won't be using this service ever again and I don't recommend it.
Soona for Product Photos and Video😳?
Learned about Soona from a google search. We wanted to attempt making a good impression for new Amazon brand by using professional looking photos and video. I had made the mistake of going cheap on photos years ago selling on Amazon and it didn’t work out well. So we jumped in the deep in with Soona and ordered Amazon (EBC) Picture and Video Packages which included infographics for, 4 products SKU’s.
The overall process was great, if someone is not computer or tech savvy the info graphics part may bring some frustration.

3 out of the 4 photo shoots from Soona came with a wide variety of photos and video clips to choose from.
For some reason only 1 of the products had limited photo and video to choose from. Note, the photos and clips that Soona delivered were of the highest quality, so I didn’t make a fuss about it. I was still able to create a nice listing.
All 4 listings have been live now for a month in a semi competitive niche and we are actually getting consistent sales with no reviews or product launch which I think is amazing. Extremely happy with how clean and professional the photos, video and infographics look. Also, picking the “Models” options was super cool.
When I booked the first photo shoot I received a message that it was “Required” of me to be there via Zoom during the photo shoot to give crew direction on a Wednesday afternoon.
I found this requirement to be irritating🤔. Similar to you taking your car to repair shop and the mechanic requiring you to be there to hand them the tools.
I kindly declined being present for the 4 shoots because like most Amazon sellers I have a full time job. Building a listing is stressful enough and I hire a professional for certain task to help relieve some of that stress. Requiring me to be there during the work week only gave me anxiety.
It would be helpful if Soona provided a “character limit” for each field on the infographics form. Some of our sales copy had to be revised because it was too long for the form.
Overall, still 10 Stars⭐️. Thank you Soona, great business vision, process and product you deliver. We highly recommend Soona, definitely will return.

I Googled how to leave a review for Soona because I'm so happy with their service. I'm actually surprised to see a low rating in any capacity. Everything from start to finish has been amazing. It's user-friendly, welcoming, and extremely professional feeling even for a very small (just starting out, next to no sales yet) business. I love the different pricing options that make it accessible for any budget. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them and I don't see myself using any other service for my needs going forward.
