Account blocked without explanation

Account blocked without explanation, false claims of attempted contact, zero resolution.
My account was blocked immediately after I changed my address and password through iBank — exactly as support instructed me to do. No clear reason was given beyond vague “security reasons.”
To unblock, the bank required a phone verification call. They claimed to have called me multiple times, but my carrier confirmed zero incoming calls during that period. I waited over 2 hours across multiple chat sessions, received repeated promises of a callback “within 15 minutes” — none of which were kept.
Support agents were evasive, unable to explain why the account was blocked, and offered no alternative verification method. The chat was simply closed with “we’ll contact you.”
To make matters worse, this is not the first time the bank has failed me — previously, funds were withdrawn from my account without 3DS verification, and the bank did nothing to investigate or return the money.
Blocking a customer’s funds over a routine profile update while being unable to perform a basic callback call is unacceptable. I strongly advise against trusting this bank with your money.

We would like to formally inform you that certain illegal IPTV services (DinBox.tv ) are currently using Bank of Georgia’s payment processing services to collect payments from customers.

These services are involved in the unauthorized distribution of copyrighted television and media content, which constitutes copyright infringement and illegal commercial activity under applicable laws.

We believe that facilitating payment processing for such services may expose involved parties to legal and regulatory risk. Therefore, we respectfully request that this matter be reviewed by your compliance and legal departments, and that appropriate action be taken in accordance with banking regulations and applicable legislation.

If required, we are prepared to provide additional details or evidence to support this notification.

I just joined Solo membership

I just joined Solo membership, but I cannot see any "good" "customer service" at all yet.
Only good part is you can do through text or WhatsApp without visiting the branch.
But somehow if banker keep neglecting the communication, where is the meaning of that?
Also, the management did not educate them with giving a time frame to customer ease. This is one of the fundamental content of "good customer service" and they cannot do.
I required my personal banker that, she keeps ignoring it and responded to my request "report the time frame" or "where we are at now on the process", she responded me, don't ask and just keep waiting.
So, she doesn't understand this "giving time frame" to the waiting person to be more transparency or feeling at ease.

Even they forgot they are touching a customer's bank account remotely, then share what is it doing right now to tell is one of the responsibility.
Management, Supervisor level don't understand that?

My card was swallowed by ATM of one another local bank branch, I contacted 24 h office of Georgian bank and officer Khatya solved my situation, they have very professional and responsable team. I'm very thankful for their high quality service.

The bank has potential

The bank has potential. Mobile app is decent. Tech team seems like it's fairly good. If you open an account here, though, the security of your account will basically come down to blocking cards when not in use. The real downside of this bank is not security, but it is that HR hires incompetent bimbolinas who look like they should be at a beauty pageant, not running a bank. The attitudes of the bankers are poor, but expected, as eastern europe is not known for its hospitality. Nobody will smile. Nobody will thank you. Nobody will treat you with any respect. They will smirk and frown, and show no class whatsoever, because they're mostly immature and petulant, and insecure. And of course, as you can imagine, the bimbolinas will spend more time in front of the mirror than responding to clients. Nevertheless, the bank is regulated. If they try to give you the run around, just hire a local lawyer and they will capitulate very, very, quickly.

Terrible service.

Terrible service.
1. I had 3ds security enabled but when my funds were stolen, they said it’s not their fault and 3ds security is not a guarantee of protection.
2. Their chat customer service is terrible. Instead of solving the problems, agents rush to end the conversation and you have to start all over again with another agent.
3. Their sms codes do not come in time and thus you cannot do any imprortant procedures.
4. Often their push notifications are also not working, disabling you from making any transactions online.

the worst bank

the worst bank. They steal money, they stole 4000+ GEL from me. Don't expect help from the bank. They've been silent in the support chat and by mail for weeks. If you want to save your money, avoid this bank. They wrote off money from the card in 50 identical transactions without any SMS codes or notifications. The bank's security didn't stop the write-offs and carried out all the transactions.

Your money is never safe with them

They let Glovo take all my money within 15 minutes in 7 same amount of transactions with no notification, no OTP and no confirmation. Customer support absolutely horrible. 0 help, my money is lost and closed all accounts with them. Stay safe.

Shiatty app

Shiatty app, shiatty service, can’t send swifts for few days because “the purpose of transfer stated incorrectly”, among other things. Get other bank if you can.

Stay away from this Replica!

Stay away! Don’t open accounts here it’s not worth the hustle! We going to write department of treasury and Georgian embassy to warn people of potential consequences if they do it anyway! They are Incompetent crooks, absolutely discredited for us, no customer service whatsoever. They Don’t pickup long distance phone or hanging up when we need to stay late to call them! Fraudulence activities in the branches and bankers that not willing to help and simply Not Speaking any English!!! Highly Not Recommended this SH… to anyone just for my enemies. lol

I tried to get a refund from my transaction, the bank blocked it, and now none of the support channels are responding. It’s impossible to reach them by phone or write, it’s just unqualified staff and carelessness

Unprofessional SOLO staff!!

Second attempt at this bank.
Their online customer service by email is drastically improved, but it all ends after that.

The SOLO banking has what I consider the worst agents banking. You may get better service from someone at McDonalds! Twice I had to deal with them for "premium" service. The first one eventually messaged me via WhatsApp to explain the services, I asked about explaining requirements and she read the message and no longer replied. She obviously couldn't be bothered.
I again contacted customer service and asked to be passed on to another agent as the last one didn't reply.
This one started out nice but I asked about an item that wasn't mentioned via customer service and as expected, that was the last time I heard from her as well.

The persons Bank of Georgia has chosen to work in their premium division are an absolute WASTE! Unless you're used to crappy service, this is NOT the best or safest place for your money. I can see there being an issue with the account or card and you having no response from anyone with regard to your money. BEWARE!!

If you wanna waste your time - Bank Of Georgia

A lot of time wasted with a terrible interface and incomprehensible forms in their KYC. Also, after I send everything in KYS, they asked to send additional documents (I send them in the KYS already) 2 days in a row, the second time the documents were constantly not sent and this error came in the answer mail: Delivery has failed to these recipients or groups:
KYC-SUPPORT (KYCSUPPORT)
The recipient's mailbox is full and can't accept messages now.
After a lot of torment, a refusal comes without explanation: the internal policy of the Bank of Georgia is ridiculous to consider as a reason.
Sorry for the wasted time.
