Initial appointment for the quote was the only appointment kept. Clear and fast communication until deposit paid.

Been back and forth, constantly missing appointments, or late for appointments.

When they installed my solar panels, there was no generation on the existing PV line - then said no the cables is faulty and needs to be replaced. I got someone else in and just like that - its working - the connections they made caused the issues.

Still waiting for my COC and registration of the system now, and this has been since mid July2025.

Rather use different company.

SA Solar Installers & Suppliers or SolarSouthAfrica.co.za (varying naming conventions) beware!
No Service Delivery, false & empty promises, do not arrive for confirmed appointments, no hardware delivery.
The modis operandi is to advertise predominantly on Facebook, then pressurise you for a deposit based on a current & ending promotion "SALE", low in stock, pay 80% deposit to secure the promotion.....and that's when the problems start. Banking details are authenticated. Contact people to be cautioned with are Juan Swanepoel (sales@solarsouthafrica or +27 76 994 1825 WhatsApp), Gail and single registered business owner Carl Brown (disguises himself as the “installer”). This company does not answer calls (apparently has ongoing telephone access issues), nor do they call you ever, even from a cell number.
PLEASE SA SOLAR INSTALLERS & SUPPLIERS, see us good or refund our deposit.
Potential Buyers Beware!
It would be my greatest wish to be able to reverse this review and report back otherwise (positively) regarding SA Solar service delivery. (Upon further investigation Carl Brown is also the owner of PRIME SOLAR ENERGY, 2024/105550/07). All potential buyers please be cautioned.
