Solar-Sherpa.co.uk Reviews

I could not be more grateful for the very helpful free advice I received from Solar Sherpa. If you are considering getting solar panels please don’t waste time or take risks (unless you know the subject). Solar sherpa will help you along the way. They helped me find a supplier who have proven to be very supportive professional and very good at communicating all the details I asked for.

These guys give you great advice if you’re interested in solar PV. The timely emails are packed with useful data and probing questions.

Invaluable help just when you need it. Snippets of information a little at a time, just enough to process and understand, then a little more and so on. Absolutely perfect, no information overload. Unbiased information and no sales talk.
Really glad I clicked on the Solar Sherpas.

The advice offered was brilliant and the checklist provided in an early e-mail was invaluable when facing solar salespeople who very keen to sell their product did not necessarily give out all the pertinent information needed to make an decent comparison of products offered. Cannot thank Solar-Serpa enough working through a thorny subject.

It was good advice from the Sherpa,s and ultimatly led to me taking thier advice and recomendation.

The info was extremely helpful for someone who has never dealt with this topic before. Clear, concise and very useful. Helped prompt questions for getting detailed and explicit info from suppliers.

Really detailed advice on this solar journey.
I had no idea what to look out for but the emails which you get are gems.
Which panel, how many, efficiency all included.
Also a short listing of the local installers.
There will be a lot of questions as you ring providers and installers. You can then ask the questions to Sherpa and they will guide you through the Everest climb.

Very helpful way of sifting out the good, bad and ugly! I've spoken to some very knowledgeable people recently who have been so helpful. I thought I knew a lot, it seems there was much more to know!

As a supplier of inverters, very helpful in fault finding to a retail customer.

Using Solar Sherpa stopped me from making an expensive mistake, the advice and guidance is excellent.

Good time keeping completed quickly

The information, guidance and general know how provided by Alex has been really helpful and much appreciated by myself and elderly father.

At the start I did not know just what questions to ask when seeking information on solar. The articles in Solar Sherpa provided that information. In addition they could recommend a number if installers who they have checked out. I have used one of there recomended installers who has been excellent.
They provided 4 separate quotes to cover different combinations of equipment. We chose to instal 24 panels and a 10kW battery and inverter plus an energy gateway all by SigEnergy plus a diverter by Eddi for the emersion heater.
We are waiting for a smart meter instalation, due next week so we can change our energy tariff and be paid for energy supplied to the grid. (presently giving our excess free to the grid)
Not had to import any electricity from the grid as generation exceeds our usage.
The scaffolding, roofers and electricians were excellent and very professional. An excellent job well done by the team at Rygol Electrical Services.

Last year I began looking for quotes for solar, I very quickly drowned in offers of quotes with not enough information to learn what I needed. This was education before sales. So much more relaxing and easy to trust.
Once I'd decided to use their search they recommend the three businesses closest to my home who were on their recommended and trusted list. One of those was a company who is spoken with last year & actually got some sense.
They've been really good and have helped design a system to suit my needs for now and future.
Solar sherpa have been in touch since to check I've had s good experience and leave some helpful info on what to expect next.
A company that really cares

When I started looking into solar energy I had very little knowledge. Your tutorials helped tremendously to understand the key issues, and also how to avoid picking a bad installer.

Good Advice, and good company recomdations

The freee, informed advice was very helpful in making up my mind, not only about whether to have solar but also which company.

An enormously helpful flow of advice and analytic tools, costing nothing. Also helpful responses to questions. Quite wonderful

really good unbiased appraisal of all aspects of the solar energy jungle. Vital knowledge for making the right decision in your particular situation. 1 hours research is worth £000s.

Solar Sherpa, gave us valuable information and guidance in choosing both supplier and type of solar panels suitable for our site. It was great that the advice was independent and guided us through the considerations when choosing, installing and running.~Many Thanks
