They promised a gift card and never fulfilled

They promised a gift card. I connected my LinkedIn account and wrote almost 20 reviews for different software I use. I had to start chatting them up for payment, and guess what? They said my review was not up to standard with almost 5k LinkedIn followers. Loool. After my time and data you collected, please do not do any reviews for scammers.

Contrary to the positive reviews posted…Lack of transparency and return SoftwareReviews: a review

Contrary to the positive reviews posted on other websites, my experience with SoftwareReviews has been disappointing and frustrating. As a company that deeply cares about unbiased reviews, we made sure to dedicate time and effort to evaluate products on their platform. However, the lack of transparency and absence of return on our work is concerning, especially when renowned companies associate themselves with this service.
After our participation and submitting our reviews, we received no feedback or acknowledgment for our contribution. Furthermore, information on how our reviews impacted or helped other users was not disclosed, leaving us questioning the usefulness of the process.
We understand platforms like SoftwareReviews play a vital role in IT decision-making, but our experience leads us to question their integrity and commitment to the companies that collaborate with them. We hope our review can help other companies to carefully consider if associating with this service is truly advantageous and ultimately, if SoftwareReviews is indeed committed to providing a fair and transparent platform for all parties involved.

Total Scam

Total Scam ! Avoid !
I was asked to review a software via linkedin, which I did and they said it would take 48-72 hours to process and awarded accordingly.
After 120 hours the support team said the content in the review was flagged for plagiarism, in short I wasted my time to review the software for them to award me nothing. Avoid Avoid Avoid !!!

Don't Trust

I saw their ad about writing reviews about software that we use and wrote 3 reviews. I forgot about it and a month later I remembered I didn't get any rewards. I asked the support team and they said they were not found suitable for awards. What the hell? I wrote everything as possible and connected by my LinkedIn account. Wasted time on you.

Don’t listen to this company

Don’t listen to this company. Promise a 20$ Amazon gift card and then while you are on the webpage can make it only up to 10 and only if you give them your personal information… also they say the survey takes 5-6 minutes. Well that is so far from reality, will ask you all sort of questions that doesn’t even apply to the software you are reviewing…

Disingenuous Review Company

They reached out to me on LinkedIN offering a $20 dollar Amazon gift card for a review. For some reason the message didn't pop up for me right away but there was no time limit noted in the message so I was surprised to find that they were only going to provide me with $10 for the reivew as the initial offer was expired. When I contacted support they stated they would not be able to honor the initial promised amount as the offer was a month old so I asked for them to remove my review as I felt the company to be disingenuous at that point. I later received an email stating they would honor the $20, they then rescinded this as they had already deleted the review.

As a company that people are supposed to trust to honestly and fairly review software it is important to build goodwill in the review community. Recruiting people to write reviews and then failing to honor the initial promise certainly makes me question the integrity of the company.
