The site was easy enough to navigate. I was having some difficulty in knowing how to upload documents requested but I figured it out and everything from there forward was fast and efficient.

NOT a good company, don't be fooled. I currently have a GREAT standing personal loan with them. I even pay $200 extra a month. I've had it for 5 months. I clicked on find a better rate because I knew, based on other companies, I qualified for the better rate, but I wanted to stay with SoFi and just lower my interest rate. I had to call SoFi to get information on what was taking my re-fi application so long. I HAD TO CALL 8 DAYS LATER!
SoFi not only did not reach out to me, but purposely inconvenienced the borrower by sticking obstacles in the way, because they know people who obviously can pay back the money, wouldn't worry about going through so much trouble for a fraction of a percentage. There's no way you can justify needing an employer verification form filled out and sent back, etc., to determine whether I qualify to have the same loan refinanced at a 2-3% difference. I just opened the first loan 5 months ago, I'm with the same employer, and I uploaded a current official copy of my check stub, plus they could see my payback history.
I got the first loan and funds within 4 days it was super easy, but now all the trouble to re-fi...No, thank you. Keep the BS reasoning, but I promised to accept another offer and pay off this loan way ahead of time and NEVER use them again. I politely emailed them and asked them to stop asking people to click on a "better rate" if ultimately, they're going to deter them!

Please don't use this bank if you like having your money available to you. If you mobile deposit a check they will hold on to it for an extremely long time. In my last case, it has been 6 days. It is difficult to make cash deposits with a limit on each deposit amount, ex. at Kroger $300 limit and a fee each time of $4.95. After you receive your introductory interest, they lower it after several months, then will continue to lower it in subsequent months.

I have not been able to get into the website to view my investments for several hours. it is not okauy to mess around with my money.

Process was very professional and efficient. Responses were timely and delivered within expected timeframe.

I’m not now nor have I asked Sofi for a loan, but they somehow got my information and just won’t stop sending me bullshit mail. Even if I needed a loan they’ve sent me so much trash I’d never use them.
