My 2-3 year old soda stream stopped working suddenly. I googled troubleshooting and tried to figure out the problem myself. Finally gave up and called customer service. I’m expecting they are going to tell me nothing to be done and to pitch the unit.
Well, to my surprise I spoke to a “human” who walked me through some attempted fixes and then determined I needed a new power cord which is being mailed to me. Very patient and polite individual, imagine my surprise. 😁

I purchased the generic orange SodaStream classic drink mix from Canadian Tire and found the quality to be quite poor. The taste does not resemble Orange Crush or any other recognizable brand. Unfortunately, I will be discarding it. This was very disappointing.
