Locked me out of my account after I asked why I was cancelled after paid in full and no claims ever
Bought my warranty contract via work in March 2023 and paid off in March 2025. Now daughter heading to college and getting paper work ready to take with her and I go to download fresh copy and it says cancelled. I call the number on the previous contract and they tell me they no longer work with SnoopDrive due to "issues" and SnoopDrive not responding to emails or answering the phone number listed. Have notified legal dept at my company, a Fortune 100 company and also my credit card issuer. They have also locked me out of my account since this morning and I was able to access last night.
I have had 2 warranties with Snoopdrive…
I have had 2 warranties with Snoopdrive and had a good experience with them in the beginning but not recently. One of my warranties, I cancelled since I traded in that vechilce. I submitted all the paperwork to have my remaining contract refunded but its been 4 months and no response on the status of that refund from them. The other contract which I paid in full was canceled by Snoopdrive since they had a falling out with the vendor DLP. They stated they were trying to figure out on how to do a refund but they had no timeframe on when that would happen and asked me to repurchase another warranty. Why would I do that if they cant give me an answer on the previous one. The dont reponse to inquiries on their site and their customer service line mailbox is always full so you cant leave a message. I DO NOT RECOMEND THEM at all.
Never again!!!
Not a good experience with this company. When it comes to get ahold of them you don't work with them directly, they are actually the "middleman " so if you have a problem they are completely hands off. I am still trying to get a refund for not only payroll deductions that have been taken out of my account AFTER cancelling my policy but also having to pay for repairs myself for a qualified repair falling under their contract because I could not get ahold of anyone in their customer service department especially when my car decided to break down at 8pm at night needed a whole new control arm. They are a complete joke. The lag at answering emails. The excuse is 24-48 hours more like 24-48 days is more like it. I recommend anyone having to deal with them to explicitly run away and take your coins elsewhere cheaper does not always me better and more efficient especially when you need assistance.
Cancellation with NO REFUND
I have and had auto warranties with Snoopdrive. All of the auto warranties were paid in full at the time of purchase. I communicated my request to cancel in writing for two auto warranties, vehicle 1 - March 22, 2025 and vehicle 2 - April 6, 2025, earlier this year. As of August 5, 2025, still have not received a refund check for either vehicle. In fact, I cannot get them to even respond anymore to my emails. I should note that I forwarded the cancellation emails to their CEO as well and still didn't get a response. For those that are wondering what to do next to recover your cancellation funds, I would recommend requesting you have your state attorney general office investigate the company, it's a simple letter to initiate the request for inquiry. You could probably have chatgpt write it for you to make it easy for yourself. Next, contact the Department of Finance (DFS) in your state, perhaps using the same letter or fill out a form to launch an investigation. Next, I would recommend contacting the employee benefit perks company and your employer benefits team to make them aware of your experience dealing with SnoopDrive. If enough of you share your experience, they will need to make a decision to remove SnoopDrive from their portal. Based on the reviews that I'm reading just on this one customer review platform, I wonder if there is a class action lawsuit or something that takes aim at this problem of cancellations with no refunds.
My premium was paid in full for the…
My premium was paid in full for the mechanical breakdown and mishap protection policy. Without any warning or communications the mechanical breakdown was cancelled. However, the mishap protection policy still active!! I couldn't reach anyone at snoopdrive by phone so I emailed the snoopdrive and I was told that the third part DLP is the one that canceled the policy and snoopdrive is working on getting a refund from paylink. I was offered by snoopdrive to start a new policy with another company with a discounted rate.
So I called DLP and they claim that snoopdrive terminated their contract with DLP that's why my policy was canceled and I need to ask snoopdrive for a refund as they do not hold any of the funds.
One of snoopdrive's response to the reviews that they are "fully committed to fulfilling our promise" that's big LIE as its been months since this happened Snoopdrive did not make any effort to get in touch with me regards this matter!
When their answer is Paylink is not forwarding the payment to the third or the third party cancelled the contract and noone can get through their system.
IT's a SCAM!!!
This is a F'ing scam
This is a F'ing scam. These guys took my Money on two cars and then I find out that not one but both policies did not go through. I have tried to resolve this for over 6 months and have not fix my cars!!! They are just awful. Never been treated so bad!!
They are cancelling contracts w/o warning.
I am deeply disappointed with my experience at SnoopDrive. Without any prior notice or explanation, my account was unexpectedly terminated, despite consistent monthly payments and only three payments remaining to complete my contract. Upon attempting my latest payment, I logged into my account to see that the account was "cancelled by Administrator." It appears others on here have faced similar issues, suggesting a troubling pattern.
This abrupt cancellation has resulted in a loss of $2,664.64 paid toward the contract, with no claims made against the contract. I find this practice highly unethical and I will be pursuing legal recourse while reporting the matter to the California Department of Consumer Affairs. I strongly advise others to approach this company with caution.
Snoop Drive cancelled warranty without a notice or refund
My warranty contract was through DLP for six years and unlimited mileage. I received an email that my contract was terminated and that I will be able to sign up for a new contract with the new warranty provider. After a month, the new (50% off deal) is going to cost more for only 2 years -- what about the money I already paid and is now lost towards the DLP contract - I have been paying for 2 years!!!!
I asked what would happen if my vehicle needed service in the meantime, and they said it would be my responsibility despite the cancellation not being my fault. Given that I was paying for a six-year warranty and completed two years of payments, those payments are now worthless. Therefore, I am owed a refund for the unused portion, but I have little confidence that it will be issued.
If this situation is not resolved by the end of the week, I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and considering legal action.
My contract through DLP was canceled without my knowledge
My contract was through DLP and when I went to find out why they hadn’t taken my June payment I was informed that my contract was canceled on May 30 with no communication to myself. It has now been over two weeks since I had to call the find out what was going on and they claim they’re working on the website to get it resolved so I can sign up for a new policy at 50% off with a-rated provider. I’ve asked them what would happen if my vehicle needed servicing and their answer is that it will be up to me to take care of because the policy was canceled due to no fault of my own keep in mind. Technically they owe me a refund. I chose to pay for my 5 year warranty over two years, I was 1 year into the payments when they cancelled it. Well that one year of payments technically covers 2 1/2 years of premiums. So I should be getting a refund for the overage, but I’m sure that will never happen. Every time I call them, I end up having to leave a message and end up emailing them and continue to get the runaround. I was told last week I would have a response by Friday with a phone call or an email to get signed up for the new warranty. as of today Monday the 23rd no response. I reached out to them again was informed that I would be receiving an email tonight and that they would follow up within 24 hours. It is now almost 7 PM and no email has been received and I’m sure there will be no follow up within 24 hours either. If this isn’t resolved by the end of the week, we will be going to the Better Business Bureau and probably talking to a lawyer.

I think I was Scamed
After paying for a year, I was told that warranty never was paid for by SnoopDrive. My Transmission went out on my Truck and now there saying I am not covered because they never got paid, and I have had no response.
I got a response: I appreciate all of your patience while we looked into this matter. Your coverage administrator, Sentinel, was recently bought by another company, Protective. Our lender, PayLink, pays the coverage administrator directly for your policy. Unfortunately, PayLink has not been able to send the funds for your policy to Protective despite numerous attempts.
At this point, we do not feel that this issue will get worked out in a timely manner to service your claim. We are requesting that PayLink issue a refund of the payments you have made toward your coverage. I sincerely apologize for the inconvenience.
Can you believe this? After all the payments, they said they will refund rather than fix my car. I need a good Class action lawyer and an insurance report.
I believe snoop drive is a scam I…
I believe snoop drive is a scam I haven't got my car fixed then they are saying that it's up to DLP to fund my repairs then they said they're going in and talking to their lawyers and I still haven't heard anything yet everybody is saying the same thing I see a lawsuit coming along I spend a lot of money for my car to be fixed and it's still not fixed

Won’t uphold their contract
If you’re considering doing business with SnoopDrive, I strongly urge you to think twice. My experience has been a nightmare, weeks without a repair and still, my car is still not fixed due to an apparent dispute between SnoopDrive and their warranty administrator, DLP.
Here’s the issue: I purchased a warranty contract that now isn’t being honored because DLP claims the contract isn’t “funded.” As a customer, I shouldn’t be caught in the middle of internal corporate dysfunction. SnoopDrive sold me the vehicle and the warranty—they are my point of contact and are ultimately responsible for ensuring what they sell is legitimate and supported.
Despite multiple reassurances and vague updates like, “We’ve escalated this to legal,” or, “We’ve shared your information with their attorney,” absolutely nothing has been resolved. Meanwhile, I’m left without a working vehicle and no clear answers, caught in an endless game of finger-pointing. DLP says to talk to SnoopDrive. SnoopDrive says to wait on DLP. Meanwhile, I’m stuck.
This isn’t just poor service—it borders on fraudulent. If a company sells a product or warranty, they are accountable for ensuring it works as advertised. Anything less is unacceptable.

Huge Let Down
I was so excited when I saw this benefit offered through my employer. I saw a few good reviews so I cancelled my warranty from the Dealership and signed up with this company for both the warranty and DriveClub membership with payroll deductions. The payroll screwed up the deductions and when I tried to get answers they told me to contact SnoopDrive.
I decided to cancel DriveClub because I could never get the app to work and the benefits weren't worth it to me. I continue to be charged to date.....
It was a task getting someone on the phone, hard to get in touch with anyone at the company. Then after eventually getting in touch with someone, SnoopDrive unilaterally cancelled my warranty but not the membership!!! 🙃 I have not been able to get any answers since. So I have paid out a chunk of money for absolutely nothing. Really disappointed.

They will steal your money
Straight up liars, I sent them a cancellation email with all the details of my account cancellation, got a response in 1 week that the account has been cancelled and they still keep charging funds from my account. Please avoid this company at all cost!!
