Bad bad bad. Breach of trust and integrity.
Bad bad bad.
Limewire acquired it, now it uploads your files to the cloud without consent.
Do not use.
Try pairdrop instead.
its no longer snapdrop
really good, lets you share files with your other devices on the same network, although now it no longer is snapdrop, now instead of just transferring files directly to other devices, it sends them to LimeWire's server and gets stored there for one week, doesn't help that i've never heard of limewire prior to this.
No longer Snapdrop. Acquired by Limewire DONT USE.
Acquired by Limewire. The whole process is now just essentially a short term cloud file storage and transfer. You have to upload your files to a cloud then you can transfer them. If you want to make changes its now a subscription. So now instead of a simple, fast, direct, device to device file transfer you now have a clunky, shady cloud file service, with a useless AI feature and subscription. Luckily there still are a few direct to device services out there that dont require you to sign in. ZERO users wanted this, literally none of your users wanted this, nice middle finger to all the people who used this service...If I wanted a cloud storage I'd just use Dropbox.. at least then I have some security.
Just excellent
Just excellent, the perfect web application for occasional file transfer on the local network.

I use this service for work all the time. I don't have a mac, so this allows me to easily send stuff between my iphone and my PC.
It's good
Snapdrop allows to airdrop files but sometime it's glitch with the files over 500 mb
