Worst company in the gaming industry, ever..

Worst company in the gaming industry.
Most greedy company in the gaming industry.
The least helpful customer service in the entire gaming industry.

Heck, they even took all the profits from ARK Survival Evolved and funneled it into a startup company that were supposed to be making electric cars but instead the money got wasted and they never got anywhere, and ended up with a lot of debt they still struggle to downpay.

They took an IP (ARK Survival Evolved) and have now spent the past 3 years doing everything in their power to make people move from that game to their 'updated' version of it by selling everyone a paid DLC that completely broke the game to the point where it was no longer playable. Oh no, it wasn't just the DLC in and of itself, but rather the update to prep the game for the DLC that completely broke it.

People with thousands of hours invested into it and the in-game content. Their tribes, friends, everything gone, just like that, because Snail wanted people to buy the 'graphically enhanced' version of it called ARK Ascended, which is even worse than the original.

The worst part is that they originally offered ARK Ascended for FREE to anyone who owned ARK Survival Evolved. Then they turned around and told us that nope, we're gonna have to fork out $45 for it.

The studio developing ARK Ascended, Studio Wildcard is their subsidiary literally sold their soul to the devil when they let Snail buy them out.

As for Studio Wildcard, they have a bad track record when it comes to fixing things. ARK Survival Evolved is a prime example. They never fixed it in early access and never fixed it after the official launch.

They went on to start developing ARK Ascended on Unreal Engine 5 to give us a graphical upgrade (for free, originally) for ARK Survival Evolved.

They claimed the game was entirely coded from scratch, but that was a big fat lie, as every single bug that was in ARK Survival Evolved carried over to ARK Ascended.

Then they went on to ignore every single bug that followed from the code base of ARK Survival Evolved because Snail told them to, and instead focused on making P2W DLC (Note: ARK Ascended is still in Early Access by the way and not a finished product), and they're now about to release even more P2W DLC for it. For a game still in development.. That's greed and abuse of the Steam Early Access platform.

ARK Ascended doesn't work 99% of the time, but stil racks up the hours making it impossible for anyone to refund the game, because people are too busy trying to make the game work from the main menu.

They even started hiring youtubers and mod creators to work on ARK Ascended, and that made it even worse..

The studio developing the game, Studio Wildcard aren't innocent but Snail makes all the calls in the end, and they're responsible for the mess Wildcard is in right now.

Snail should be blacklisted from Steam and every other platform.

Dont buy Snail games

They like scammers in game world. They remaked the worlds 3rd most sold pc game, but couldn't fix those mayor problems what could make Ark a God tier game. They have a monopoly on all servers.
They ruined ASE with Aquatica to push even more players to expensive mod hungry ASA, everyone playing with rollbacked patch pre-aquatica.
They abandoning most they games in the first yrs, what are mostly just mimics of other games like ark..and there's much more.
But i'll still buy the lasd DLC with a good offer. So i guess it's working lol.

Banned Account After Years of Payments – No Proof, No Refund

I spent years and a lot of money on Snail Games' "Age of Wushu." I legally bought an account and made dozens of in-game purchases. One day, they permanently banned the account with no explanation or proof.

I contacted their support many times and got nothing — no evidence, no reason, no refund. Just silence or generic replies. They even refused to discuss the situation or show any policy violation.

All paid content (from me and the original account owner) is now gone. I have all order numbers, invoices, and proof of ownership — but they don't care.

This is unacceptable for a company handling real money. Their lack of transparency and support is shocking. Stay far away from Snail Games.
