Awful customer service

Awful customer service, order delayed by 3 weeks because they 'lost' the order as if it was sent on paper, promised express 24hr delivery when it was resolved and it took 3 days. Avoid

AVOID - disappointing, shocking customer service & items super late

First time ordering was spot on, no faults, all Korean products and my partner loved it.

Ordered a second time on 18th March for 48 hour tracked delivery, after a few days the tracking info wasn’t updated, I emailed on 24th March and had a response on 26th apologising as they’d had a move around in the warehouse and the order had been “lost” and extra items would be sent as an apology & it would be sent 24 hours tracked delivery to arrive Friday, Saturday so 28th, 29th latest as stated in the email. The product information was updated on 28th to say it had been shipped. I emailed on Saturday to say it hadn’t arrived, no response, emailed again on Monday 31st March, no response. Item arrived yesterday (3rd April), 16 days after I ordered. No extra items in the package and completely different to the first time ordering. Products were not worth the value stated, a few chewy bars, a small pack of biscuits, and some freeze dried candy (I also didn’t realise freeze dried candy was “from around the world” (chewits, refreshers and skittles). Hugely disappointed, avoid!!

Fancy asking me to do a review when I'm still waiting for my order after 10 working days and 2 days after my daughter's birthday who the order was for. On reading other reviews it seems this is how they operate with everybody. Very disappointed

Really poor experience

False advertising!!!

£85 worth of stuff 😂 never honestly they’ve over priced everything 95% of the crisps were stale the sweets had no flavour probably been sitting in a ware house, false advertising I say, I want my money back for this, it advertises such great stuff you get the most expensive crap not worth the money at all !Refund!

Seems like a scam

Absolutely a waste of money and time, I ordered from snack squad on 7th February. It's been 2 weeks and my order has still not been fulfilled and dispatched, I have received no email or update on my order, even after emailing them and talking in live chat. Will definitely not be using or recommending this company ever!!

Misleading delivery advertising and zero customer service

I'm really really disappointed with this. I purchased the 'Taste the World' XXL mystery box on the 10th as their website mentioned a dispatch in 24 hours. I sent an email to the company on the 14th after no updates and my box not being dispatched. I then received an email saying they had an unexpected premises issue and that it would be dispatched early this week, they did however over a free item as a gesture of goodwill.
We are now on Wednesday and still no dispatch. This was a £75 box plus a further charge for shipping protection. It was meant to be a Valentine's day gift brought before Valentine's day but we're still waiting. It's a shame, I have used this company before but at this rate they've lost a regular customer if not sorted soon.

Edit: Since my review, I sent another email and used the chat bot on their website. They have since dispatched the box and it should be arriving Saturday (22nd February). Let's hope the contents were worthwhile for the price and the wait!

what a shame
have ordered in the past and been happy, sadly not this time. ordered a week ago and seeing the “ Orders picked, packed and posted from our Manchester Warehouse within 24 hours” felt pretty happy i would get it in time to give as a gift and paid faster shipping to be sure.
well it is now a week later and no order has been “picked, packed and posted” at all.
have spent days trying to get through to someone and nothing at all, completley ignored. the last box i ordered took weeks but i figured that was because it was over christmas and new year but clearly its just how they operate, tell you one thing but do another.
i have since learned from reading other reviews that the policy of “ Orders picked, packed and posted from our Manchester Warehouse within 24 hours” only applies if you pay for the priority dispatch but this is not explained anywhere. if your happy to be ignored and wait WEEKS then go ahead and order because the last box i had was good but otherwise i would avoid

Ghosted by the squad.

Ordered on Sunday, have had no updates on shipping even though I’ve paid for shipping protection and priority. I have also emailed and have received nothing back. This feels like a scam.

Crisp Mystery Box

I ordered a bundle with a mystery… - So disappointed

I ordered a bundle with a mystery crisps box and a mystery drinks box. Ended up costing me 57 pounds.

They were a week late shipping it and the boxes were awfully disappointing.

They promised snacks and drinks from around the world, but our large box only contained crisps from Turkey and India + 1 small snack from the UK where we live. In a box of 19 snacks it's unacceptable to not get a more varied snack box. There were even 6 bags of crisps from the same brand. Disappointing.

For around 20 pounds we got 6 drinks with half of them being small cans. 3 fantas, 1 Pepsi and 2 Mentos. Again only 2 countries with them being either from China (fanta and Pepsi) and Mentos (Korea).

Feels like a scam when they don't deliver on their promise.

We asked to have this problem sorted and all that gave us was 10 % refunded and a coupon for 25 off for another order, but won't be used as we had a really bad experience with what was supposed to be a fun and exciting birthday gift.

Provide us a free box showcasing that you can make up for it with a variety of countries and we'll change/update the review.

I expected more for 43 quid a box if I spent that at Asda I would get twice as much. I bought two for my Adult Children. A lot of money for not a lot of sweets. Disappointed I’ll try a different company next time. The idea is good. Considering sweets are a lot cheaper around the world very expensive.

Xxl box £57 17 items

Just opened my xxl size box and to my disgust it as only 17 items that's around £3 per packet even as wigglets in ?? So not crisps have tied to contact then no reply will be demanding a full refund

We are not familiar with Wiggles?? As all of our items are imported from other countries. Some of the items in your box, such as those imported from China, can retail for £4.99–£5.99 each due to their rarity and imported nature. These are snacks you won’t typically find in local stores, which is why many of our customers appreciate the unique variety we offer.

I can also confirm we have responded to you via email this morning and have been in constant communication to assist with your concerns.

7 days to dispatch

Website makes a big deal of dispatch within 24 hours, took them a full 7 DAYS. When I queried this I was told it was because I hadn't paid 99p for priority dispatch. Why would I, if I've been told it'd be within 24 hours? Also, I didn't pay for priority shipping (the difference between 1 - 2 working days, and 2 -3 working days didn't seem to be worth it) I haven't received the box yet but I don't hold out much hope given these other reviews, that I really wish I had read before ordering! Lesson learned - there are lots of other companies that deserve my money.

The contents of the box was not very…

The contents of the box was not very much and also 2 packets was open I ordered for my grand children for Halloween I wish I had had a better experience as would have ordered more

Rubbish experience

Really expensive, very small amount.

Paid for priority dispatch and royal mail 24 delivery. Ordered Monday 11:30am, arrived Friday. £8 the delivery was.

Selection was absolutely terrible, mostly cake bars, most the sweets were just haribo which were the same that you could get in this country.
