I've never really had a go-to guitar shop, until now. Ed was beyond reasonable and after a quick chat in the afternoon, my new guitar arrived practically the next day (the morning of the day after) - probably the most securely packaged delivery I've ever received, by the way.
The guitar was perfect - the service was better. If I'm ever thinking of buying another guitar, Smokestack will always be my first stop.

Ed literally went the extra mile(s) to hand-deliver my beautiful PRS MEV which exceeded my expectations. I bought a Suhr from Ed, beautiful guitar and exactly as described and pictured. Given the value I was a little nervous of buy in over the internet. It turns out there was no need.

The guitar was amazingly packed in a very stout box, with lots of shock mount and protective packing. I have never seen anything like it. Lots of communication from Ed throughout the process. A real pleasure and delight, I can’t recommend more highly. I would have no hesitation in buying again in the future

Customer service done right. I ended up returning a guitar that I just couldn’t get to grips with, literally, the neck was bigger than i thought it would be. the guitar itself was beautiful and would have been perfect for me if the neck was slimmer. I emailed Ed with my concerns and he put my mind at rest saying nothing was more important than me being happy with the guitar and the service from Smokestack guitars. There was no awkwardness at all, just a dedication to customer service. In addition, the packaging was the best I’ve ever seen when the guitar arrived, the hard case wrapped with foam and an air bag. Meticulously packaged. Communication was 10/10 throughout. I will definitely use again. Fantastic.

My experience with Smokestack Guitars was first class in every respect.. brilliant guitar of course (PRS Hollowbody 1 with factory mods), and at a great price, but really special level of service making the whole transaction seamless.
