I’ve been searching all over London for furniture and vintage pieces, and eventually came across Smithers in Shoreditch. Ended up buying a beautiful blue neon sigh, a real vintage one from around the 1950s (as Nick explained). The price was fair quality is spot on, and sing looks pristine after their restoration work.

Customer service was great too. Proper friendly, helpful, and they actually know their stuff instead of giving scripted answers. Really pleased with the purchase and the experience overall. Happy to recommend them

Beautiful Custom Neon Sign

We ordered a custom pink LED neon sign for our granddaughter’s bedroom here in London and absolutely love it. It was made specially for her birthday, arrived in roughly two weeks, and the quality is outstanding. It gives off a gorgeous glow and she was over the moon with it. I’m in Texas and ordered a life size gold plated skeleton from Smithers. I was a little nervous about shipping something that crazy all the way here, but honestly, these guys are absolute professionals. It didn’t just turn up in a box it arrived in a wooden crate that looked like a mini coffin, and I loved it.

The attention to detail was insane. They even had a little spirit level attached so you could tell if the crate had been dropped during shipping. Who does that? Only people who truly care about their products.

I spent weeks trying to find a decent neon sign for my salon. Tried a couple of other companies first and honestly the quality was awful – flimsy acrylic, lights flickering, and one even turned up with scratches.

We had had a apothecary cabinet made from smithers, the finished project was high end quality. This besoke piece took them 8 weeks to complete the task. we are a office in London and will be using them again.

This company made bespoke boardroom tables for our business concept. We have had two tables made over the years from Smithers. One table was made to look like Batman’s table and the other was a Marble effect finish. Both tables are 6 over meters long and they have took a battering over the last few years from all the meetings, but I will say they are still in very good shape. I would definitely recommend Smithers for any bespoke commission projects.
