John is great to work with!!

John is great to work with! He is knowledgeable, attentive, patient, and flexible. I've bought from Smith & Noble multiple times and while I've always been satisfied with their products, it's the positive interactions with people like John that keeps making me come back.

Received many samples to make my final choice. The instructions for all the steps to measure, order and install were easy and complete.

Disappointed

Had an offer to get 30 free samples which was difficult to order on line but finally got all 30 requested. Only received about 10 in the mail. Definitely won't be ordering unless I can get samples plus now I've missed the 30% off sale that was going on.

Needed a solar shade.

Exceptional customer service for purchase of a solar shade. The website was not very clear and wouldn't let me order what I wanted, since I didn't know there are only certain fabrics that work for the size I needed. Lisa helped me understand what I needed and put together the order for me with the correct sizing.

I placed a sample order on July 26th…

I placed a sample order on July 26th and over five weeks later 8 of my 10 choices are still on backorder. I placed a 2nd order a few weeks later in case there was an error and was notified again they are still on backorder.
I anticipated a great experience after a salesperson emailed me the day after my sample request. She was helpful with measuring and any other questions. All orders are custom and nonrefundable so the samples are crucial. We placed an order with S&N 10+ yrs ago and are comfortable with an online purchase. They are reasonably priced and are constantly having sales, but natural shades for 4 living room windows is almost 2K even on sale. Feel bad for sales staff and now I have to start over with another company since there is no ETA on back ordered samples.

Wonderful Experience!

Audrey Savage was an absolute pleasure to work with on my drapery order. It was my first experience ordering custom drapery, and I had numerous questions about the process and measurements. She was incredibly patient and informative, and she made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable!

I had the pleasure of working with Audrey Savage

I had the pleasure of working with Audrey Savage to place my order today. She was the best service representative I have ever worked with on the phone. Having been a small business owner, she is the kind of person I would hope to hire to work with a team providing customer service. She is knowledgable, eager to help, positive, very generous in assisting other representatives and made the entire process a pleasant one. I had been experiencing challenges in ordering with Smith&Noble and was feeling quite frustrated. Audrey completely changed my experience. She would be excellent at training and leading a team.

We are repeat customers with Smith and…

We are repeat customers with Smith and Noble. When we were in the process of ordering we ran into some questions. After speaking with several different people, Lisa Davis was very helpful answering all our questions and then she took the extra time (several phone calls back and forth) to make sure the order was placed correctly.

Jeannine Clavell helped rescue our bedroom. When we first had our treatments installed, one of our two bedroom windows had been measured incorrectly, and we were left with the old gross blinds in it. The installer returned and remeasured it, but we never heard anything about it after he left. Summer came up and we got busy and whatnot. Anyway, after I reached back out to S&N, Jeannine helped resurrect our order, locate the measurements, get the treatments reordered, and finally scheduled for installation.
Thanks to her, we now have the dark bedroom cave we prefer and better sleep. Thanks, Jeannine, for your follow-through.

I am a repeat customer of Smith and Noble. I have been buying their shutters. They look great and install easily. Anna Colon was a huge help when I ran into a problem and I am very grateful.

With support like that, I will continue to use and highly recommend Smith and Noble.
