I don't have a Smile kitchen, but I would trust them to create and deliver a great kitchen. I went through the planning process with Chloe, and valued all her knowledge and suggestions. I was grateful for her availability online, and felt confident Smile would deliver, as Chloe never tried to upsell or encourage me to buy something I didn't need.
In the end, I have gone with a small handmade company (I never thought this option would be available to me due to budget, this is the only reason I moved away from Smile), but that wasn't a reflection on Smile.
I liked that they can do custom colours, samples were sent via the post quickly, and the base colour range was quite broad and fun (not just green, navy, grey and cream!).
I had been particularly interested in the Fina and Jenson.
It's worthwhile finding people (none-influencers) on instagram and asking about their experience, as I found people gave real positive reviews of Smile.

I do think Smile would find it worthwhile to collab with some installers, and big brands to build confidence, as every builder/ installer/ plumber I spoke to (obviously not a lot) didn't know who Smile were.
Smile don't provide appliances, so some customers may decide that another brand is suited if they're replacing a whole kitchen and don't have time to also research independently 'white goods'. I was lucky that I actually didn't any, so this wouldn't have swayed me one way or another.

Highly recommend Smile Kitchens.

Firstly, the design process with Martyn was fantastic. Relaxed, with no sales pressure at all, Martyn showed real expertise in designing the best possible layout for our space and advising on all manner of product choices. He took our ideas and preferences on board and came up with several great options. He also had seemingly endless patience for tweaks and queries, and even redesigned the layout without any fuss when it turned out our extension's dimensions differed from the original plan. Once decided, the ordering process was easy, communication around delivery was good, and the kitchen was delivered undamaged and on the agreed day.

Secondly, the actual quality of the kitchen is fantastic. This was a bit of a worry with ordering online, not having seen the units in a showroom (even though Smile do send plenty of samples). However, the units actually surpassed our expectations, and are of significantly better quality than the high street big brand kitchen they replaced.

Thirdly, the aftercare has been fantastic. Vicky has been extremely responsive by email, and the few bits that turned out to not be quite right were replaced quickly and with zero fuss. Really refreshing to receive such good customer service.

Ultimately, we are delighted with our Smile Kitchen - it looks and feels fantastic, the layout is faultless and makes the best use of our space, and the service has been brilliant from start to finish. We would definitely use Smile again.

Huse is a fantastic designer. Very professional and patient. Fell in love with the kitchen he designed. Thank you for all of your time and effort. You made the process very easy and pleasant. Sadly I didn’t complete, as the company doesn’t offer 0% finance.

Jon was amazing helping design my new kitchen. He made sure to make the most out of the limited space we have, and managed to fit in all the appliances that I wanted. He was very diligent making sure that samples arrived on time, and that I was happy with the result, super accommodating with as many changes of mind that I had, including las minute additions. Cant wait to see my new kitchen !

Isabella was such a great designer, I really enjoyed the process and she helped with any questions I had. Would highly recommend!

Excellent customer service, really helpful consultant. Chloe was quick to respond and could accommodate requests quickly and easily. She was happy to adjust things and the zoom calls were convenient for us and flexible. Samples arrived with great packaging and just and all round great service.

I had a lovely consultation with Ms C. Mooney. She listened to my proposal and suggested logical solutions. At the same time as giving me time and options to think about. I never felt pushed into anything and if anything inspired by our conversation.

Izzy was really helpful throughout the design process, going through lots of variations and also trying to get us the best possible value for money.

Jane Thyeson is a wonderful person to speak to when setting out to plan your kitchen. Knowledgeable and quick to understand what you’re looking for. 100% recommend!

Every time some one made arrangement and appointments they were carried out with punctuality.
Alicia was polite and patient with us and no changes were to much trouble to get to our final order

I had a really positive experience working with designer Chloe Thompson at Smile Kitchens. She was genuinely lovely to deal with from start to finish; friendly, patient and very approachable.

What stood out most was how helpful she was during the design process. She took the time to listen carefully to what I wanted, offered thoughtful suggestions, and helped turn my ideas into a practical and attractive kitchen layout. Nothing felt rushed, and she was always happy to answer questions or explore different options.

Overall, Chloe made what could have been a stressful process feel smooth and enjoyable. I’d happily recommend her to anyone planning a new kitchen.

Couldn't be happier with our experince with Jon at smile kitchens. We did a few other designs with competitiors and Jon's was the first time we actually got excited. He had a great mixture of design and practicality and was very receiptive to our ideas and helped guide us through the process, which was very transparent unlike some other experiences we had. 10/10. Can't wait for our kitchen to be installed in a few weeks

Like many of the people on this site, we had a fantastic experience throughout the design process and had recommended smile to multiple people.

Unfortunately, from the moment we ordered everything went downhill. Our order was immediately delayed from 6-8 weeks to 9+ weeks - the reason given was bank holidays, which obviously have been in the diary for a long time. We also were informed several weeks later that one of the units they sold us actually cannot be made - the solution offered was for us to have our fitter custom create the unit from a flat pack. This obviously has cost implications for us, but the team did not offer any discounts or even acknowledge that they sold us a unit that they cannot actually give to us. We raised our concerns and have had no response for almost one week, and had to chase them for an update. We also have been repeatedly told that after sales would be in touch but have heard nothing.

While the sales process was good, we have honestly regretted committing to this purchase. It feels like the second you order you become a second class citizen and are treated as if you do not matter. I hope the kitchen itself will be high quality based on the reviews (when we finally receive it late) but be prepared for poor aftercare once you order is placed.

Huse was an excellent designer , really tailoring the kitchen to what I wanted. The quality of the kitchens is so good and the best price we found. Would recommend smile kitchens to anyone looking to replace their kitchen.

We really love our kitchen from Smile - the units and handles are beautiful.

We worked with Alicia to design the kitchen and she was really brilliant - working so hard to help us with the design and to enable us to order in time for a January delivery.

The delivery team were great too.

We had some communication issues with Smile after delivery - there were missing items from the kitchen delivery which we had not been informed of before delivery and for those it took a bit of going back and forth to understand the full picture. Some of the missing elements were then sent to us - but did not arrive on the days we were told they would be delivered. A tall end panel which was missing from the order was then delivered twice - damaged - which meant that our kitchen fitters had to leave the job and come back at a later time putting the kitchen fitting and worktop templating back.

After speaking with Simon, the communication improved greatly and we received regular contact and responses to our messages which we appreciated and all was resolved in the end.

Everyone we did speak to was really lovely - Adam, Jack, Janine, Mark, Simon, Emily and Alicia.

The worktop has just been fitted and is stunning - the worktop company Smile uses is brilliant, the guys communicated really well and carried out an excellent job - thoughtfully choosing the pattern on the stone for the upstand behind the oven.

Helpful, honest and modern unique service from Jennifer Ings at Smile Kitchens. Although we didn’t use this company we found Jennifer to be really helpful and really enjoyed the design appointment. She offered some great advice and was very patient.
