We love our retract a gate! We had a retractable gate from another company and it was hard to use and my son actually fell through it. This gate is super easy to use and I can close it with one hand. It rolls out very smoothly and locking is simple. We also got the extra piece that you can use around a bannister so you do not have to use a screw directly. Highly recommend this gate!

I'm very happy to give this company 5 stars. I would give them 10 stars if I could. The product is amazing!! The customer service is amazing!! I ordered the wrong product "my fault for not paying attention" but they where ok with that and allowed me to return it for a prompt refund while sending out a new one. I can't tell you how impressed I was with this company. You can not go wrong!

We absolutely love our Retract-A-Gate! It is extremely quick & easy to use and effective in keeping my son from getting to the stairs. We also really liked having the option to purchase the Stair Banister Adapter Kit. It really helped us protect our banisters. After having this gate for several months, it is still in wonderful shape & working perfectly! I highly recommend this product & company. I am constantly referring my friends to this gate because I love it so much!

Def worth the money!!! So easy to use and the best part is when it's not in use. It is COMPLETELY out of the way when I'm running up and down the stairs. Love it and recommend it to everyone I know!.

I was hesitant at first to get this baby gate b/c of the price point, but since it's front and center in our new home I decided to try it. I am SO glad I did. It truly is superior to all the other retractable gates. We got a cheaper version off amazon for our basement playroom and it is noticeably lower in quality. For main living spaces that are high traffic, I absolutely recommend this gate. It looks so nice.

I am reviewing Retract-A-Gate for a home with dogs. My 7 year old grandson lives with us right now as well and they have been helpful to him as well. We have 4 retract-a- gates. We have 2 of the largest and 2 of the smaller ones. I love this company and their product. We have 2 small dogs and 1 very large dog. They work great in keeping them all out of the areas that we put them up for. These gates work perfectly for our 4 legged babies. They are beautiful and we feel very well made. I never liked baby gates when my kids were little. I would have loved to have had these retract-a-gates then !

The retracting gate is awesome! Works easily - so much better than the rickety wooden gate we were using. Love how it retracts into itself and you barely notice it when not in use.

We bought two of these gates about ten years ago to keep our two dogs (greyhounds) contained in the kitchen and family room during short periods when we didn't want them to have full run of the house... such as when a visitor was due to arrive. About three years later, we purchased another one to use across the upstairs master bedroom door to contain the dogs in our bedroom if, for example, we had a contractor showing up. Then, just three months ago, we ordered our FOURTH gate to use across the door from our garage... so we now have flow-through ventilation during the early mornings and late evenings to keep our house cool in the hot weather!

Obviously, can't say enough about how wonderful these gates have been for us!

We needed a way to keep our son’s cat secured from our dog when he and his cat visited and this gate was perfect. It was simple to install and works like a charm. Kind of wish it were a little bit taller but it is great! Thank you.

We bought two of these for our backyard and they’re holding up wonderfully. Excellent quality and we live that they disappear when we aren’t trying to keep the dog off the grass. Highly emrecommebd.

I am a huge fan of the Retract-a-Gate and I have bought a second one.

Both times I purchased the gate I sent in pictures of where I was going to install it and they wrote me back the same day with an installation plan and parts.

I love the gate itself. The retractable feature means that it isn't an eye sore and it tucks away neatly. The lock and unlock process is straightforward and after some practice I could do it with one hand while holding a baby.

I have recommended this gate to other parents. I just wish the shipping wasn't so expensive to Canada.

Love this product so much, we bought a second one! I was very hesitant to buy based on the price tag, but can say it is certainly worth it. It is so much better than putting up and taking down (or tripping over) a gate every time. Install is simple for the most part, I had to do some custom wood standoffs to get around baseboard constraints as a personally preferred that look over the optional solutions. Simple to use and extremely low profile. Definitely recommend!

Amazing product! As a grandma with an open-floorplan house, I did not want the O.K. Corral decor that is needed when my grandson comes for a visits.

Easy to use and install. These secure to the wall and can stretch to restrict access and be retracted when he leaves. I bought the tan color that blends with my furnishings. I simply LOVE this gate.

I got the retract gate to use when my new granddaughter comes to visit (which is often). Each time I use it, I rave about. It moves easily from upstairs to downstairs (we installed additional brackets so we could move it) and rolls up so compactly when not in use. The installation went smoothly and I feel at ease when it is in use. I am very pleased with this purchase.
