We damaged the drivers door of our car and went a got quotes from local body shops all £760 and north. Send Smart repair a phot and we were quoted £265. I though worth taking a risk: if it goes pear shape then I can have in done in a body shop.
My fears were groundless. Aaron did a magic repair on our driveway. No fuss and we had our car back in three hours unlike being without the car for days if it had gone to the garage. If you have a nick, scratch or bump: just go on line to these guys and stop the worry.

The quality of work completed on my car is very good, its a shame it wasn't the same about communication.
Although I was told the repairer would be in touch before 18:00 the previous day to the work being carried out, I was not contacted.
I tried every way to get hold of the repairer and didn't receive any answer until after I had gone to bed, the response was a repair time of 09:30 the following morning, but he didn't arrive until 10:00.
This resulted in a lot of frustration which was not needed.

They used an independent contractor, not one of their own people and it showed. When the work was finished I noticed bubbling at the bottom of the repair. I got in contact with the 3rd party contractor and he assured me it was the tape glue that was still sticking to paint. Five months on and several cleans later it is clear that it is paint bubble and he didn’t spray it properly. Not a good experience and now I have to go back to Smart Repair and fight to have it fixed properly. The whole process and contact with SR is a bit mechanical and I do wonder how much they vet their 3rd party contractors.

Billa phoned me the day before my booking date. Asked md if he could come a day early which I was able to do.
