Mike Nighbert and the team exceeded all expectations! I am a mortgage broker and Mike and SmartFi helped me and my reverse mortgage client every step of the way through processing and closing one of their proprietary reverse mortgage loan products. It helped the client save thousands of dollars a month and get into a far better financial position and the proprietary rules gave far more optionality than a HECM for this particular client. my company has been a partner with this company for several years I had a problem ordering a 2nd appraisal and was frustrated with having my client pay for another appraisal and I spoke to Jennifer Rodriguez and she took it personal that I had an attitude with this issue. She was immature and referred me to her manager as she thought I was rude I had my pricessor on the line Instead of diffusing the situation becasue I did not know this was required her manager called me and told me I was going to be deactivated she said we are a people first company not valuing partners that send them business her service stinks along with the account rep Mac (Mackenzie) Elliot I know a dog by the name of Mackenzie LOL Dont recommend this company

I've been working with Smartfi Home Loans for about 5 years and I am very satisfied with how knowledgeable and professional my representative is regarding their product line and reverse mortgages in general. The staff is very good at getting the loan to closing quickly and efficiently as well.

I would not recommend this company to anyone to do business with.

I love working with SmartFi and Josh Callison. My issues are more with the operations staff not being proactive and also not answering emails in a respectable amount of time when files are needing to close. Closing and funding have been great.

Very easy process

I was asked several times to provide documents I had already provided.

I recently did a purchase transaction where I contacted the closing department advising them of the closing deadline, their response was," it's in line".

Closing purchase transactions should take priority over refinance transactions because of the closing deadlines imposed on purchase transactions by the Purchase Contract.


Closing instructions should be provided to the title agent at least 24 business hours prior to the closing date and time to allow time for the borrower to wire funds to close.

They are very helpful and very knowledgeable very nice employees and highly recommend
