I talk with Customer service and payment team I found they are helpful. But the company Not a enough Clear with they're Services, I am six months with this company my account consultant still can't access In to my portal to see my Invoice.

Absolutely shocking service from Smartest Energy.
Had the commerical property from December 2025 to April 2026 and spent FOUR MONTHS trying to do something very simple—set up an account and pay for the electricity I was using. Despite repeated calls and emails. because of a previous tenant’s debt. I was refused the ability to open an account or switch supplier. So I was left in the absurd situation of actively trying to pay for electricity and being prevented from doing so because of someone else’s unpaid bill.
This is beyond unacceptable—it’s completely incompetent.
What makes it even worse is that the issue STILL hasn’t been fixed. The new tenant is now dealing with the exact same problem, and unbelievably, the electricity has now been completely cut off.
I have emailed multiple times and nothing meaningful has been done. No resolution, no urgency, no accountability.
I have now taken this matter further and referred it to the Ombudsman.
Denying people access to a basic utility over someone else’s debt is disgraceful. This has gone on for months and is now affecting multiple tenants.
Avoid at all costs.

This company is either incompetent or willfully neglectful - Since we took over our building in September 2025, the electricity meter has not been working so we have been bombarded with Over estimated bills, running into thousands - Theire customer service is utterly useless, and we'v been pushed around from pillar to post with no help, They even sent bailiffs to our property, despite us paying the bills. They are utterly unprofessional, bungling and ineffective. They are everything that is wrong with UK ulitiy providers - We've reported them to Ofgen. If you're thinking of using these clowns, please don't. They are utterly useless.
Update: after receiving the reply below, I immediately sent Smartest the complaint information againt, only to be met with... silence.
Nothing.
Not even an acknowledgment. I guess this response was just for effect.

We are a small charity and have received the worst service to date from any energy provider. Smart meter not working and they still haven’t sorted it in 4 months despite my emails, calls and a complaint being raised. Potential overbilling on estimated reads. Absolutely shocking!

I recently placed a review for the renewals handler who dealt with our contract, I will now say I was wrong!
(Complaint Ref: AIS7791303) Renewal rates not updated! Our bill is currently coming in at over £1000 per month more than it should be
Having spoken to several people it appears that the renewals team have not applied the new contract rates (arranged on 15th January) as there were issues manually entering the new rates onto their system and as such we are currently being charged the ‘out of contract rate’. The person I spoke to said that they are working on sorting this out but couldn’t give me a timeframe for resolution.
I asked if we could just NOT pay the bill until it was resolved and she said no, it had to be paid but we would receive a credit when it was resolved. I was quite insistent that we were a small company that could not afford these kinds of errors and she said there was nothing more to be done.
The customer services team are as useful as a snowflake in a furnace! They say they are raising a complain but when you call back up they have no record of the complaint reference, they wont even send you a copy of the complaint for record purposes.
The renewals team talk the talk when renewing the contract but clearly dont follow through when the contract is signed. I highly doubt we will be sticking with Smartest Energy when this contract is complete
