I signed up for SmarterASP.net because they advertised unlimited disk space — perfect for migrating 10 years' worth of media from my previous host. After days of effort uploading and configuring my site, I was hit with a "disk soft limit" warning and told that I have to pay more.

None of this was disclosed during sign-up. Their vague terms allow them to restrict your storage arbitrarily. Support has been polite but unhelpful, and refuses to escalate the issue or offer a workable solution.

This feels like a bait-and-switch. If your website relies on media or needs more than 30GB, I strongly advise caution. I came in good faith expecting to scale — instead, I feel misled and blocked at launch.

Very disappointed after investing so much effort. Not recommended for creatives or serious projects.

SmarterASP.net is the best hosting site I have found for creating razor page applications. Visual Studio publish was able to upload the pages to the hosting site without any issues. Also the SQL management program allowed for easy uploading of the data files. The couple of questions I had were quickly answered using the online chat feature.
