For cruise booking
For cruise booking, I usually check price with my favorite cruise liner Holland America and also various agents, but always finally call my favourite agent and friend Bob Friedman to match or improve the best price available elsewhere, and then book my trip with him. And Bob is a wonderful guy, always patient with me and always tries to save my money. Right now, for my current fully paid booking, he is going to talk the cruise liner if I could get their very recent price drop.

Disappointed
When we became aware that our cruise had lowered the prices. I called to see what Smart Cruiser could do to help us. I spoke with an agent that said there was nothing they could do. I then asked to speak with a supervisor, who said she would see if there was anything Smart Cruiser could do to help us. She said she would be getting back to me in a day or two. I never heard back from her. Very poor service.
If the supervisor replied, please post that email. I do not believe it exists.
As I have already stated, the supervisor never responded to me. This email from the agent was before I had spoken to the supervisor.

Thank you for your feedback. It's always our priority to ensure guest satisfaction on service items within our control. Final payment for your cruise was due in August by cruise line policy. When you reached out to us in September regarding a new promotion the cruise line was having, we did contact the cruise line on your behalf. However, per the cruise line, the new offer could not be applied to previously made reservations. The offer was only valid on new reservations. Since we were past the final payment due date and within the cruise line's penalty phase, we could not cancel and rebook you with the new offer as this would have not been in your best interest.
We have a record of the email sent to you with the cruise line's response to our request. Our apologies if you missed this important communication. While we do provide an enhancement directly from us with each reservation, we are still bound by the cruise line policies with regards to their promotions. We are sorry you missed our follow up to your request.
Happy to provide you with the email that was sent to you on Sept 10th at 12:42 PM. We have no reason to misrepresent ourselves. The cruise line would not allow us to apply the promotion to your existing booking. The new promotion was for new bookings only. We have to follow cruise line policies. However, we did offer you extra value and provided you with extra value of $175.

A great company ambassador
I have booked several cruises with Smart Cruiser. The most important reason I keep coming back is Bob Friedman. He happened to help me with my first cruise and I see no reason to book my next cruise with anybody else. Bob is very helpful and professional, yet also friendly and funny and a delight to talk to. I wish I could meet him personally. I guess I will have to travel to Boca Raton one day. Anyway, thank you Bob.
