Lockmaster gearbox,non-existent aftersales service
Ordered a Lockmaster gearbox which had two design options but with the same part number. There was nowhere to note which was which so I assumed it was a generic item.
The gearbox was not the one I required, although it arrived the next day, so spent 5 hours trying to get through on the phone. Eventually succeeded to be told send an e.mail, which I did. No acknowledgement so sent again. Still no response. Why do British companies have such a useless aftersales service. I now have an unsecured door, so will have to purchase another from somewhere else as I do not trust this company to sort it out. Poor service, I do not recommend.
