Some years ago Dan built a number of decks for us. We were so pleased we recommended him to neighbours. Recently our very large deck (about 30 years old) finally needed replacement and without hesitation we contacted Dan - he and his team did an excellent job and as other people have commented always left the site clean, tidy and safe. His workmanship was of a high quality and he always had the answer to any problem that arose.I highly recommend him.

Dan and his assistant Shay have done some lawn treatments and cut our grass due to my husband undergoing knee surgery. Always very polite and knowledgeable. Previously used Greenthumbs for years but not satisfied with their customer service and extortionate prices. Will now be using Smart Gardens, a great family run business with excellent customer service and reasonable prices. Thanks Dan, Lucy and Shay

We are very pleased with the work Dan has done on our front garden area. He took our vague ideas and made a very smart and practical area, even down to fine details about improving the look and function of a drain cover. Clear communication, contracts, and payment schedule. Generally very reliable and helpful and overall we felt we were in safe hands, and had chosen the right person for the job.

Many thanks to Dan and his young assistant for trimming back our native hedge, supplying and fixing some trellis, and replacing our tatty old lawn with ornamental gravel over a permeable membrane. All the work was carried out cheerfully and efficiently, and both Dan and his assistant (Shay? Che? Apologies for perhaps not catching his name properly) were approachable and friendly throughout. We will certainly be using Smart Gardens in future, for a hedge trim at the very least!

Dan has carried out three different ares of works for us and the quality of work has been excellent, he always consults us on every aspect of the job and always cleans down the working areas at the end of every day. first class workmanship.

Brilliant job as usual. Dan’s been helping us for a number of years with pruning, fencing and path laying. From initial consultation to the final clear up everything is always efficient and well done.

I highly recommend Smart Gardens. Dan did a fantastic job and advised me on the right paving for my home. I would definitely use them again.

They have done two jobs for us, both exactly what we wanted with no fuss or bother and always to time.
We are planning to use them again - good to find a gardener who knows his job!

My initial meeting with Dan when we discussed what needed doing in the garden was very positive and gave me confidence. He is so knowledgeable and I am happy that he will carry out what is necessary and when. Being a widow it is very comforting to know you have someone you can trust.

Smart Gardens were brilliant transforming our muddy plot into
a Mediterranean garden. They interpreted exactly what we wanted giving us advice & ideas along the way & its matured beautifully. We are so pleased we are having them back shortly to do some extra work. Definitely recommend them.

I have had Smart Gardens do various work in my garden for several years now and have always been more than pleased. They do the work efficiently, carefully and promptly.

Our experience with Smart Gardens has been excellent from the outset. They made multiple visits to support us in scoping the work, and were very flexible in scheduling around our availability and requirements.

Although we have only progressed with one (large) part of the work, it was completed on schedule, looks great, and has already transformed our use of the garden.

I know that if I need anything done in the garden I can just ask and it’s done. I have regular lawn mowing done and if I need anything extra they’re there and it’s done well

We wanted a large gravelled area of our back garden turned to grass. Dan quoted a price and date. All the soil, turf and digger turned up ready the day before. A skip arrived early on work day and was filled and off the drive 5 hours later. All work completed with lawn care instructions the same day. A thoroughly professional job 😁

We needed an ornamental pond removed and surrounding paving repointed together with four small beds filled with a variety of plants. On a recommendation we contacted Smart Gardens. Dan completed all the work quickly, cleanly, and to budget. His wide knowledge ensured we have an interesting selection of plants to enjoy as they mature.

I am so pleased with my garden now that Danny has worked on it. He gave me some good advice which I have taken on board. He is such a nice man😊
