Dreadful Delivery Experience

Terrible expierence so far.

Placed an order for a mattress topper.
Found out afterwards that the only company they use for delivery is Evri.
Had I known this before, I wouldn’t have ordered from SleepyPeople.

Two days later I got told by Evri they would be delivering the topper, as such I waited in all day.
I was then told half an hour before the delivery time that the item was ‘too big to be delivered’ - Not sure how it’s too big as the item itself is small.

Evri advised they’d redeliver at some point by a specialist courier and to wait till the next day.
The next day comes and not a word from Evri.
No way too call them - Automated service and the ‘live chat’ is AI won’t let you speak to anyone.

The live chat said it would redelivered the next day.
The next day comes, it then changes to saying the item is lost and raises a ‘concern’.

A staff member then emails the next day (today) stating it’ll be delivered today, but lo and behold it’s not been delivered.

Tried raising with SleepyPeople today but they advise they cannot speak to Evri directly, they’ll email them but have to give them 48 hours to respond.

I try to raise a complaint (as I’m their customer, they’ve subcontracted the delivery to Evri therefore they’re responsible) only to be told by a representative rather rudely that ‘I have no right to raise a complaint with them’.

Genuinely, if you want a flawless delivery or even a half decent one, do not order via SleepyPeople.

We completely understand how important a smooth and reliable delivery is, especially when waiting at home based on tracking updates. While your order was dispatched on the 24th of May, and delivered on the 29th, we acknowledge that the experience leading up to that delivery did not meet your expectations and was less than ideal.
We regret that the communication and service provided by our delivery partner, Evri, fell short. We know that unclear updates and limited access to support can cause real inconvenience.

What an amazing product the self…

What an amazing product the self heating throw is that I purchased. Great customer service, NHS discount verification, quick delivery, well packaged and lovely and warm. Didn't have a plug near to get an electric blanket but this product is brilliant and well worth the investment 🙂

Well pleased with this purchase

Pillows arrived yesterday and put straight onto our bed. I was able to sleep with just one pillow instead of two and found my head nicely cradled in the pillow and my neck also nestled safely. Pillow puffed up normal when I got up. Well impressed.

First time user of the site and like…

First time user of the site and like any new company you deal with you have a worry at the back of your mind. On this occasion we should not have, the prices, service and product (a Hungarian goose feather duvet) were excellent. Just go ahead and buy.

Great product which arrived quickly and…

Great product which arrived quickly and well packaged. My German Shepherd loves his new bed. So much so he is now taking himself into his crate more during g the day for naps than on his bed in the open. The foam provides a great cushioning and supports his weight well. Fluffy Sherpa top is a lovely bonus too.

A decent trustworthy company

Easy to navigate the website, everything arrived in good time, and was well packaged.
The products themselves (duvet cover, duvet set and fitted sheets and got a free throw) were good quality and good value for money.
