Sky Store, you've changed the rules, so now I cannot download my purchased movies to a windows laptop, Ok so I will download to my tablet, Oh! I have had my one change this month, removing the laptop from sky store and adding the browser, and therefore cannot download any movies to take on Hols.

Sheer greediness
Eversince tvs went from analogue to digital, every service provider is now punching above their weight with ripping the consumer off and sky is no exception either. Rubbish old movies that are years old being charged to us customers at extortionate prices. Absolute disgusting. Sky should be ashamed of themselves for sure. You are better off finding another movie channel where you can watch up-to-date movies for half the price or even free. Netflix ain't much better either. I can guarantee you that if you put in the movie title on search of Netflix, you will not find the particular movie you are looking for. And that's a fact. Avoid these money grabbers.
Unable to watch Sky Store purchases
Sky Store films purchased number over 50 - since the changes Sky have made, all I get is the "Failed to install Widevine components" issue so simply cannot watch films I have faithfully purchased from Sky.
They simply seem to think the answer is to tell customers to find another device, such as an android phone, on which to watch their purchases. Thanks Sky, but had I wanted to watch my purchases on a 150mm screen I'd agree, but my laptop was the reason I purchased these to watch without squinting!!!!!! Get it fixed, or lose your customers to other providers!!

Signed up , paid the rental for a film ,and all I got was an error code and film failed to download. First and last time I will be using it
Do not try to rent or buy anything, their app is broken
For the second time I try to watch a movie, and their app works fine when is about charging me, but not so much when is about streaming what I paid. First time I've sent a complaint email, and their reply was filled with corporate impudece, on idea "if is not working on a tv, use your mobile and suck a lemon!".

No cast options, even though it says it has them. Now I have a paid for film on my phone with no way of getting it onto my projector

Brought a film on TV app, went to watch it and it will only play on my phone. Awful, waste of money and time.
Difficult to use
The app cannot be downloaded on any of my TV sets. It kept giving me playback errors when I tried to cast it from my phone to my main TV and kept kicking me out when I tried to use it on my Roku stick on the other TV. In the end I managed to watch half a film on my laptop and now when I try to watch the rest, it has completely disappeared. Because of all all the above issues, the 48 hours rental period has already expired. This rental was made by using a gift voucher and I have to say I am not impressed at all and I wouldn't spend a penny of my own money on it.
Woke up to find i had rented a movie…
Woke up to find i had rented a movie while asleep. At least that is what sky store believes, got an email receipt for renting a movie, contacted customer service team to be told I must have because their records show it was a device registered to me, I asked what device to be told it says sky so has to be an official sky device. Ok which one? I have two a sky glass tv and a puck. Both of which are only accessible by me in my bungalow and I live alone. Told if I didn't have a pin set up nothing could be done, why would I require a pin I live alone? So be warned if you are the only person with access to your devices you should still set up a pin or sky store might rob you too.
movie rental rip-off
summary: very complicated to retrieve rented movies (via their store, not streaming app) and rentals are only available for 48 from the point of purchase, NOT when you start streaming. stay clear of this horrendous service.
i rented a movie on 14 Sep and it didn't show in my sky app. i contacted support on 15 Sep and asked them to refund. they told me that i need to switch app to retrieve the movie. i didn't get to it (the weekend was over by that time and some of us have to work) and when it tried to retrieve the movie again on 26 Sep they told me that it was only available until 16 Sep. case numbers 380509 and 382954.

I have bought four films from Sky Stoire but when I try to download them them it just comes up Widevine error . I have wasted hours over the phone with Sky technical and so has our IT Support Company and Sky are worse than useless despite the same problem being experienced by numerous users.
We have now been advised to give up and use Apple TV instead.
NO SUBTITLES
I signed up for Sky Store and bought a series that was difficult to find in my region, only to find that it had no subtitles.
On the one hand, I was the fool not to investigate beforehand, on the other, since I bought a series I cannot really watch at this time, I feel a little taken in, I've never used an online streaming service other than Netflix, and they had subtitles for everything.
Sky now have my money, don't offer refunds, and I can't watch the series I bought.
When you pay full price for something you expect to be able to use it or your money back, it should be made clear to people that there are no subtitles or accessibility options on a purchase, and not just something hidden away in mounds of small print.

The film prices are absurd and also they need a realistic review of the individual films and then to be priced accordingly last night me and my wife watched the highly anticipated film with apparently great reviews 28 years later for £14 which is very steep anyway and it was probably one of the worst films ive watched so feel like sky are giving false reviews to what filmsare actually are as a customer for many years we feel like the service from sky is now on a major decline also sorry for the rant there is more but il leave it at that
Unable to watch bought films
I seem to have a recurring issue whereby I can’t watch a previously paid for film on my LGTV Sky store app. When calling Sky customer services to ask why, they asked me to download the app onto my phone… I don’t want to watch a film on my phone, and when I confirmed this, they cut me off!

Will never again purchase anything from these cheaters! Bought seasons 1-8 of a TV series but then stopped being a Sky customer. I didn't think this would be an issue since I had bought these seasons but came to log in today to find Sky does not recognise my email address. I have no way to access the content I bought which really stings. Sky's customer service is beyond useless. How do Sky get away with such behaviour where they can just deny you access to content you legally bought.
