Well made lantern blind, simple to assemble and easily fitted.
The large roof lantern blind that was supplied by Skylight Blinds-direct is very well made, simple to assemble and was easily fitted by two people using only four fixings into the opening. The opening into which it is fitted must be accurately measured to the millimetre to ensure a good fit. It was supplied very quickly and is of a very high quality, but still lightweight. The concertina blind slides very easily.

This is a very useful product
This is a very useful product. I installed the blinds myself, and although it was a bit difficult doing it alone, the guidelines provided were very helpful and allowed me to fit them properly.
I must say the after-sales service is exceptional. I forgot to arrange the insurance, but they contacted me to let me know they had already done it on my behalf and even sent me the certificate.
Great service and a good-quality product. Keep up the excellent work!

Large electric roof lantern blind
I had been looking for a particular blind without tension wires for a large corrector/orangery roof lantern - skylight blinds direct were able to make one for me in the dimensions I needed.
It arrived carefully folded up ready to be re-assembled and fitted.
They kept in contact regarding order progress and delivery dates etc and were there if I needed help with any questions along the way which fortunately I didn’t need to ask. A lot of the information I needed was on the website and the installation videos are very helpful. I Definately couldn’t have put together and installed the blind correctly without the comprehensive videos and help on the website.
The blind is installed, working and looks great! My wife and I are really pleased with it! It has taken a long time to find the correct blind for us, and the particularly large size made it difficult to find a company who would make it for us.
Although we installed ours ourselves, I would absolutely recommend having any large blinds (ours is 4.9 meters long!) professionally installed as this was not an easy task - trying to carefully lift and screw up a 5 meter long frame high above your head into a plasterboard ceiling recess is not something I would like to do again!

Great service
I was a little apprehensive about whether this blind was right for the purpose we intended, but Skylight Blinds, were extremely helpful from the outset, guiding me on the correct type and method of power. On delivery I had some difficult getting the blind to work (which was my fault in part, although the instructions could do with a little tweak!). All in all a great experience highly recommend and would use again if I ever need a replacement or blinds for another location.

The whole process was really easy from start to finish. Fitting was a doddle and perfect. The blind functions perfectly and as it is blackout it leaves the room dark as it is supposed to. Naomi took us through it from start to finish with 5 star service.

Impressive Blinds
I’m delighted with the Skylight blinds. They’re made-to-measure by a British company in the UK.
I bought and ordered the twin manual honeycomb open-view panels, which came with a 10% discount. I assembled them myself and installed them into my roof lantern following the instructions on their website. The blinds look fantastic and DHL delivered them promptly. They effectively reduce glare on my home PC monitor and TV while also creating a cosy atmosphere in the room with lights on at night and maintaining the comfort of the orangery. I appreciate the communication with Naomi and Steve.

It took 3 of us to lift it into to space for fitting, but with the brilliant advice from Naomi and the help centre, the blind is fitted, working and looks amazing. The product arrived well packaged from London blind company by DHL.
Assembly went okay given the guidelines and numbers on the blind frame.
Slight problem with operation that needed the motor reset.

I’m absolutely delighted with my Skypod blind and it’s made such a difference to the heat we were losing through the Skypod. We opted for the remote controlled solar operation. Brilliant product and brilliant service. Cannot recommend Skylight Blinds Direct enough. Really pleased with product, very easy to assemble and install. We went for the manual option and the design of the blind is such that the handle runs on tiny wheels so it makes opening/closing a doddle. Buy with confidence.
