An utterly brilliant experience! The canoeing across Scotland was incredible and beautiful. It enabled us to see Scotland from the vantage point of canals and from the middle of lochs. As a 68 year o... See more

This is my first time canoeing across Scotland. My 17 YO son and I really enjoyed it. A great experience, met wonderful people in the same group, and stunning scenery. The guides Geoff and Matt are great. Their expertise made the whole journey enjoyable. One of my best holidays ever. I would definitely recommend.

Just got back from doing the Machame Route with Ahsante. Was absolutely amazing and we could not have asked for a better experience. Our lead guide Sebastian and assistant guide Calvin were brilliant and we will be forever grateful to them and the whole team for getting us all to the summit. There were often times were we thought we could not go on but they were great at encouraging us and getting us there. Thank you all again. Was great from the moment we were collected from the airport to the moment we were dropped off.

I had a great experience with skyhook. I went sea kayaking on the Jurassic coast. Stu and Tabiago that took us were fun but also made us feel safe so we could really enjoy being on the water. Really recommend this . The camping was fun and comfortable. Food was good and plentiful. 🙏

Such a great few days in Morocco doing the Mount toubkal trek . everything was well organised and food was lovely. our transfers were seamless and our hosts were hospitable. Our guide up the mountain was Hassan who was very nice and reassuring .
I would highly recommend this trip if you are interested in increasing your experience to higher mountains !

Morroco hike...
They say they can cater for gluten free, however on 3 occasions I was left without food. When I messaged the guide about this problem and how I was feeling he just told me to avoid certain food and eat alternatives. There where no alternative provided and on the 3 occasions I had to ask to be made something special.
They can not provide for an allergy and do not trust them.
I must say the rest of the trip was wonderful.

A very well and organised trip and yet another bucket list adventure ticked off accompanied by the nicest group of all like minded people.
Our tour guide Josh was extremely supportive from start to finish and successfully got me to the top of all three peaks!
although the trip was a success I think if I was ever to do this challenge again I would stagger it over 3 days opposed to 24hrs I really wasn’t expecting the pace from the get go to be as rushed and would have liked to have had more chance to take the amazing views in as well as the day and spent more time with the group as a whole.
I couldn’t have asked for a better team everyone was lovely very much looking forward to booking my next adventure trip through SkyHook very soon!
Already scoping out a canoeing trip across Scotland 👍

It was definitely a weekend I will never forget, our guides Stuart and Tobias were amazing! Whilst Stuart was up ahead with all the regular kayakers, Tobias made sure that those at the back lagging like me a first timer, were good and safe. He never rushed us or tried to make us feel bad about catching up. I really appreciated it! They were both great fun and had lots of knowledge of the area, I felt very safe with the both of them and thoroughly enjoyed the kayaking! The campsite was great, clean with nice hot showers, a tea and coffee room with marshmallows for the fire. There's a little bridge to walk over and a field to get to town (we stumbled upon some cows, a little shetland pony and a billy goat). The steam train can be seen from camp and the glorious Corfe castle was visible too. The stars at night and sunrises were amazing, and was well worth getting up for. The salt pig cafe was delicious, I'm gluten free and my breakfast/lunch was absolutely lovely. I wasn't hungry at all throughout the day. The group we had were great fun too! I would definitely book again everything across the board was brilliant. Thank you boys

I was inspired to do this trip as it was my grandmother‘s winter playground, she was born in Bern and she was fortunate enough to have skied in Zermatt every winter.
I have always had a love of mountains, but I have never experienced an overnight backpacking hike in the mountains and sharing a dorm hut with people I did not know. I wanted this kind of experience at least once in my lifetime, hence the reason I chose the Matterhorn 4 day 3 night hike as it was a great combination of everything I wanted to experience. I was travelling solo and could not have wished for a better tour guide than Tom Goldstein and the wonderful group of other hikers who soon became like long lost friends, we all gelled instantly and we were all there for each other. Tom was such a caring observant guide who helped when help was needed, subtly guiding those with fears along the way, and helping them to overcome their fears of certain points ie the suspension bridge or a fear of narrow pathways at height. Because of his quiet and calm manner of dealing with these issues instead of hikers feeling fear he filled them with a great sense of achievement and pride, that is not a skill learnt but a natural ability of his. I have none of these fears but found it admirable to observe how he looked after everybody.
The whole of this trip was a learning curve for me which I will treasure always, thanks to my wonderful companions and guide. Making new ‘like-minded’ friends, swimming in the ice-cold but exhilarating mountain lakes, I absolutely loved that experience, and having the most magnificent views of the wondrous Matterhorn in all if its natural glory and glowing like a beacon at its very best. Memories I will carry for my lifetime. Thank you. Would I do it again? In a heartbeat I definitely would.

Just wow! This serves as an example of how an adventure company should run! From booking, airport pick up to sitting round the campfire perfect in every way. I will booking another trip with skyhook asap !
A special mention to Sini our guide, kept us fed, safe and was integral to the success of this trip! I could not ask more from her.

I did the canoe across Scotland!
To be honest I wasn’t prepared or had even read the itinerary properly, I booked this thinking I was having a holiday. It was definitely not a holiday (as in relaxing!)…. It was hardwork, the wild camping was tough, the canoeing was tough, I was lucky to have booked with an amazing group of people who were such a laugh and Robo was an excellent guide, very entertaining, relaxed and knowledgeable. I felt safe even when things were a bit scary (loch ness!) I had no issues with the food, it was good for a wild camping, plenty of snacks available also. Although I was a underprepared and not as fit as I should have been, I completed it and it was one of the best and wildest experiences I’ve ever had! ❤️❤️❤️ Thank you , would definitely recommend if you want to challenge yourself! Wow wow wow, was slightly worried about this one as to where is was, but I shouldn't have been.
First of all thanks to skyhook for organising these wonderful trips and thanks to the Albania tour guides we had, they were awesome.

This trek is indeed no joke. It pushed me to my limits and beyond. The views are stunning and disconnecting for four days was a welcomed experience. Highly recommend for people who want a challenge and aren’t afraid of heights!

Amazing few days with Tuure guiding us on this trip who was excellent and great company! Beautiful hut right on the water at Vika and a great kayak on the first day. Hiked up to Pulpit rock then another mornings kayaking. Really beautiful place, great company and a great experience!

What a wonderful trip. Amazing views, a great challenge and a wonderfully friendly bunch of people. If you are thinking of booking a skyhook trip... do it!! I can't recommend it enough.
My trip highlights would definitely be the views, the rifugios along the way, when we reached the window and could see Mont Blanc on one side & Gran Paradiso to the other 😍. Shout out to Elisabetta who was an incredible guide & kept us out of the rain where possible.
Thank you so much Skyhook

Highly recommend this trip. Four amazing days trekking with excellent views and company. Accommodation and food was spot on. Strenuous trek but if your fit enough, then it’s perfect. A massive thank you to our guide, Roberto who is a great guy and guide. Looking for the next adventure through skyhook 😀
