The product was very well packaged for shipping. After a few days of use, it seems to meet 100% of my expectations. It's easy to use and the water quality is apparently excellent; a positive effect seems to be appearing on my skin.

I had an issue with my RO water filter and contacted Skuma Water customer service. I was helped by Ashwin, who was very professional and supportive throughout.
The team was responsive, communicative and always willing to help. Although my original filter issue couldn’t be resolved, they went above and beyond by sending me a brand new replacement.
Overall, I’m very happy with the service I received and really appreciate the effort they made to ensure a positive outcome. Great customer service, keep up the good work and thank you!

I was reluctant to write this review, but I don’t want others to go through what I have experienced.

From the moment I unpacked the unit, it was faulty. This was my third machine following similar issues with a previous model. My second machine developed faults shortly after a filter change; believing the machine itself was the problem, I returned it and paid for a replacement. It is now clear that the product is fundamentally unreliable.

The mineral function initially malfunctioned and only worked intermittently. Once that issue eased, a more serious problem became clear: the waste tank filled extremely quickly while producing very little filtered water. I had to constantly empty it just to get a small amount of usable water, which was highly inefficient and frustrating.

I was sent multiple replacement parts, including a valve, magnet, and later a super-filter. None resolved the issue long-term. The replacement filter worked for only a few weeks before failing in the same way.
I sent 17 emails, along with photos and videos, over a period of months trying to get this machine to function properly. It took around three months to reach a point where it worked—and even then, it only lasted about five weeks before failing again. This level of troubleshooting should not be expected of a customer.

The repeated failures demonstrate that this product is not of satisfactory quality, not durable, and not fit for purpose.

Throughout this process, I have had to repeatedly chase the company with no lasting resolution. It has been time-consuming and completely unacceptable—and now the refund process is proving just as difficult. Once they have your money, it is extremely hard to get it back, even when the product is faulty. My bank is now involved, which should not be necessary in order to obtain a refund for a faulty product.

Based on my experience, I would strongly advise others to avoid this product. The ongoing faults and lack of effective resolution have resulted in a significant waste of time and money.

I’ve been really enjoying Skuma. Water tastes great and makes tea and coffee taste much better vs tap water.

Faced a few glitches here and there where the water pump will continue running even though the tank is empty. And the mineral infusion would stop at times then start again moments later. These issue's were intermittent. Overall happy with the purchase

Absolutely love this water filter , we did have a few teething troubles but issues were sorted out promptly and customer service was excellent .
Wouldn’t be without it .

Water finally tastes great, I know what good things are added into each sip and looks very modern in our kitchen too!

A lot of water gets filtered out, so a bigger waste container would’ve been helpful, but it’s the quality of water we blame.

Customer service is very responsive, but we had few issues unfortunately - hottest water setting dispenses more steam than water and buttons sometimes flick around themselves (we’re being told it’s because of steam getting under front panel, which sounds like design may need reworking soon). Other than that - very happy.

To add minerals to a reverse osmosis filter is a very good idea

We’ve been using our system for 5mths and we are so pleased we decided to buy it. The sleek design sits nicely on our worktop, enabling our daughter to help herself to clean, nice tasting water any time she needs some. The difference in taste compared to tap water is noticeable, after smelling chlorine and not enjoying the taste of our tap water previously we wanted to try something. The setup and maintenance is simple, with videos to assist to keep your system working effectively. We also love the fact the waste water can be used for plants! So nothing goes to waste. Overall we have loved the confidence that our system has given us in drinking lots of water.

Reached out to skuma and they arranged for me to send back for them to fix. Took a little while which was a little frustrating but the customer service was good, fast communication and Ashwin, who was dealing with my claim was very helpful from start to finish!

We've been filtering our water for over 10 years and can definitely say that this water system is the best we have bought and used.
The water tastes amazing and the hot water feature is a bonus.

Me and my son love my skuma. I use it for drinks and cooking and water my plants with the waste water. None have died lol. I find the mineral bottle runs out really quickly though?? Lasts maybe a week? Is that something I’m doing? However, I doubt I would be without it now. I originally got it to be part of my detox from all harmful substances in water and food. Along with eating organic produce my health has been great so far.

I’ve had my skuma for a few years now and I can safely say it has changed the way I drink water entirely. I can’t go back to tap water. The customer service is really helpful as well.

We absolutely love our Skuuma water – it tastes amazing and has completely replaced bottled water for us. The machine is really easy to use and fits seamlessly into our daily routine.

I did have an issue at one point (entirely my fault for not descaling properly!), but the customer service was brilliant. They were quick, friendly, and super helpful over WhatsApp, and everything was sorted with no hassle.

Set up does take a little while and when I pressed the wrong set of buttons a couple of days later to change the hot water temperature, the machine started to pour water with little speckles of purple and green. I WhatsApp’ed the skuma team and they were really helpful with their replies. Now I’ve got the hang of the machine, I’m happy with it. It does produce a lot of waste water which needs to be emptied several times a day, I would say around 40-50% is waste and we don’t live in a hard water area. It’s really important to us that we drink purer water so I am really happy with the machine for that. But i would say from time to time it doesn’t work as desired, I.e the hot water wouldn’t produce hot, so I had to put the water in the kettle, then later on it started to work fine again, also on another occasion the wrong amount of water pouring and over filling a glass, then the pour being correct.

I'd been looking to stop buying bottled water and invest in a reverse osmosis system. The Skuma ticked all the boxes and was much easier than installing an under sink system. Machine works great and easy to use.

We spent so much time researching how to get our water better! And always returning to the Skuma, firstly the reviews and gave us a positive feeling. Secondly on a very shallow note we really liked the look of the water dispenser.
Now we have great tasting water and a good looking machine!

I was one of the original backers of Sküma on indiegogo. The team have been nothing but helpful from the get go. Also It the cheapest way to get electrolytes in and i love the RO ratio of 4 ltr pure to 1 ltr waste.

I've been with Skuma for 2-3 years now, and the business is truly great! I got a machine from them near the time they first launched. My first version of the machine had some problems, but recently got my machine upgraded from them because they've upgraded their system. After a few emails they really went above and beyond to make sure I had the BEST machine and experience. Genuinely crazy and the best experience i had with many companies 😂 Rohit was so super sweet, and sent me a whole new machine, bottle, filter, electrolytes, the whole lot! I was actually shocked and squealed for joy in my flat🤣 London tap water is NOT it and my skuma makes it taste a worlds better 🥰🥰
