I don't normally write reviews but I have to for Sklum...I admit I was very hesitant purchasing with Sklum when I saw some of the bad reviews on here but I am very glad I took the leap.
Firstly the prices were amazing compared to other places, then I knew it would take a while until my order was shipped but I was kept updated via email about the status of my order which I appreciated a lot. The delivery came sooner than expected and my bookcase arrived today, it was packed securely and is in brilliant condition!
I am so chuffed because it is exactly what I wanted and it was just as advertised.
I am very impressed and would definitely recommend taking the leap too.

Worst service ever.
We had our order delayed for over 40 days, so we opened an "incident" on their site.
Now we can't return any of the items because there's already an "incident" open for this order, so we can't initiate a return.
No phone, email, or chat service in the Netherlands. The phone number listed on their website doesn't work.

WARNING TO OTHER CUSTOMERS.
I ordered a table from Sklum, made a payment, and never received my order.
The carrier (Dachser) confirmed in writing that they never received the shipment from Spain. The tracking information now shows that the order has been cancelled.
For days I have been trying to contact Sklum by phone, email, WhatsApp, and their contact form. The phone is unavailable, emails are ignored, and I only receive automatic replies.
I have asked multiple times for an explanation, an update on my order, or a refund, but I have received no response.
At this point, I am still waiting for either my table or my money back.
Think carefully before ordering here.

If it was possible to give no stars i would, 1 star is too much, i ordered lights a month ago was supposed to be shipped mid may, its now beginning of june and they have emailed to say that “the missing shipment has arrived” at their warehouse (why was my stuff missing? This is the first we are hearing of this? I have no clue) and that now it will take approximately 24 to 48 working days, yes DAYS! To process the order and potentially another 7-10 days after that for shipping?! What the absolute hell kind of b*llshit is this? If it was coming from mars it would be here quicker than that? Nothing makes sense, impossible to get any real information from anyone, feels very much like a scam. Avoid at absolutely all costs.

I bought chairs from Sklum just a few months ago (Order RQJKFTYUL). Recently, I accidentally looked under the bottom upholstery and was completely shocked. The internal frame is made of cracked, low-quality wood with traces of old paint - it literally looks like recycled garbage. Furthermore, the internal metal brackets are heavily rusted, and the foam assembly is extremely sloppy. It is absolutely unacceptable to sell products at this price point made from waste materials inside. Their customer service form on the website actively blocks quality complaints. I strongly advise avoiding this brand until they take responsibility and resolve my issue.

I am writing regarding my sofa delivery order to Liège, Belgium, for which I have been unable to obtain any information or assistance.
According to the tracking information, I am currently unable to select a delivery date online. I also never received the SMS verification code required to confirm a delivery appointment.
Over the past few days, I have attempted to contact SKLUM through several channels, including email, Instagram, and the telephone number provided on your website. Unfortunately, I have not received any response, and the phone number appears to be unreachable.
I would appreciate it if a SKLUM representative could review my order and provide an update regarding:
The current status of my order;
The expected delivery timeframe;
When I will be able to schedule the delivery date;
The issue preventing me from receiving the SMS confirmation code.
I hope this message will help resolve the situation, as I have been unable to obtain assistance through the usual customer service channels.

No complaints on the products, happy with them. For the delivery in the country with Dachser , the communication with the delivery team was very poor. When we were notified that delivery will take place the next day, no exact time for delivery given, we rang them and explained that we do not live there, we need to travel and we would prefer if delivery is not done at 8 am in the morning, but a bit later. They stated that they will put a note in the system and that the drivers will ring us an hour before delivery anyway. My husband lost the day from work, travelled there early in the morning, spent over 60 euro on transport and waited and waited. When he rang costumer services, they told us that delivery was there at 8 am and nobody was home and that they couldn't contact us as Sklum gave them the wrong number, missing 2 digits and that the drivers could not arrive later than 8 as the location is where the driver starts his routes. We rearanged, my husband lost another day of work, spent again 60 euro on petrol, left at 5 am, made sure he is there at 8 am, the delivery arrived after 12 at midday. All in all, delivery costed us more than the product itself. The delivery in Dublin with Eurodis was uneventful.

No complaints about the merchandise, but customer service is non existent. Please make it easier for customers to contact you without having to go through a virutal assistant which is useless. Have an email address and answer your phone. I lost a good amount of money because merchandise was sent to the wrong address and I couldn't find anyone to contact or answer the phone to correct the situation.I had to contact the transport company in Spain who were extremely helpful and went out of their way to help me. However, even that didn't help as the merchandise was still delivered to a non existent address.

I was about to buy the Yvetta table from SKLUM, listed at £159.95, after subscribing to their newsletter and receiving a 10% discount code.
At checkout, I discovered that delivery would cost an additional £49.99, which seems extremely high in relation to the price of the table itself. I also could not find a clear option to collect the item myself instead.
I thought at least I would be able to use the 10% discount code they had sent me. However, the voucher did not work. The website showed the message: “You have not reached the minimum amount required to use this voucher.”
The issue is that the promotional email I received did not clearly state that there was a minimum spend requirement. The message presented the discount as a welcoming offer for subscribing to the newsletter, with wording such as “every story deserves a great start.”
This feels misleading. I was genuinely interested in buying the table, but this experience has made me question whether I can trust this company. Between the excessive delivery fee and the unclear conditions attached to the voucher, the whole process felt frustrating and dishonest.

So a company that accepts order in English, has delivery info in another language and doesn’t make their delivery alerts accessible?? They blame suppliers- I ordered a few weeks ago. Told it will take a few weeks. Fine. A few weeks pass. I try to track but get nonsense. I try to get chat service - loop after loop. Regardless of the quality of you product if/when it arrives please look elsewhere. Feels like a scam at this stage!

We were super happy with our first SKLUM experience. The whole ordering system was so easy. They sent us updates now and then and everything arrived as planned. The furniture was very safely and carefully packed. We LOVE the furniture. In fact it's even more beautiful than the images on the screen. The quality is great and the details are super fine and beautifully done. Its our first experience so we were rather nervous, but the 5 star reviews were very helpful. Don't hesitate! With 2 new bedside tables and a chest of drawers our bedroom has more style and atmosphere.

Complete disaster. If I could give 0 stars, I would.
I ordered several products, and at the time of purchase it clearly stated that everything would be delivered together at the end of July. Then, completely out of the blue, we received an email saying that part of the order would actually be delivered at the end of May.
We immediately contacted customer support to explain that we are not living at the address yet and therefore could not accept the package. They assured us this would not be a problem: if the delivery could not be completed, the package would simply be returned to the warehouse and they would contact us to arrange a new delivery date.
Instead, the tracking now shows the package as “delivered,” even though nobody was there and we never received anything.
I have been trying to contact customer support since yesterday without any success. No replies on WhatsApp, no way to reach anyone, and no information on how to get my money back.
Absolutely unacceptable service. At this point, it feels like a scam.

Slechte communicatie en logistieke chaos rondom levering. Op 26 april twee dure loungestoelen gekocht bij Sklum. Omdat ik geen haast had, nam ik de gok ondanks de bekende wisselende verhalen over de levertijd. Sklum mailde op 14 mei dat de stoelen waren verzonden via Dachser.Daarna begon de logistieke rompslomp via een Pools Dachser-filiaal. Na heen en weer mailen werd de levering definitief bevestigd voor 28 mei tussen 8:00 en 14:00 uur. Op de leverdag zelf kreeg ik om 8:58 uur plotseling een sms en mail dat de levering was vertraagd, zonder enige optie om te reageren of te achterhalen wánneer er dan geleverd wordt (vandaag later, of een andere dag?).Pas na zelf mailen naar Polen kreeg ik een kort bericht: de zending is vertraagd en ik moet maar weer een nieuwe datum doorgeven. Ondertussen stuurt Sklum al vrolijk mailtjes met de vraag of ik blij ben met mijn aankoop; zij hebben intern dus geen idee of de goederen überhaupt zijn aangekomen. De stoelen zijn er nog niet, maar de communicatie en service vanuit de transportpartner zijn tot nu toe erg ondermaats en klantonvriendelijk.
UPDATE: Na mijn ultimatum geen e-mailreactie van Sklum gehad. Wel kreeg ik onverwacht de dag erna (vandaag 29 mei) rond 12.00 weer bericht van transporteur Dachser. Na zelf maar weer nabellen bleek de levering diezelfde middag te zijn.
De bestelling werd op een weggooipallet voor de deur gedumpt. De chauffeur nam deze niet mee terug, dus ik moest alles op straat uitpakken.
De stoelen zelf zijn gelukkig wel van topkwaliteit, stevig verpakt en makkelijk te monteren. Ze zien er prachtig uit en zitten heerlijk.Als Sklum de logistiek en communicatie op orde krijgt is dit 5 sterren waard. Door alle rompslomp en het gebrek aan service pas ik mijn beoordeling aan naar 3 sterren.
Poor communication and logistical chaos surrounding deliveryOn April 26th, I purchased two expensive lounge chairs from Sklum. Since I was in no rush, I decided to take a gamble despite the well-known mixed reviews regarding their delivery times. On May 14th, Sklum emailed me stating that the chairs had been shipped via Dachser.After that, the logistical hassle began through a Polish Dachser branch. Following several emails back and forth, the delivery was firmly confirmed for May 28th between 8:00 AM and 2:00 PM. On the actual delivery day, I suddenly received a text and an email at 8:58 AM stating that the delivery was delayed—with absolutely no option to reply or to find out when it would arrive (later today, or another day?).Only after proactively emailing the Polish office myself did I get a brief reply: the shipment is indeed delayed, and I need to provide a new delivery date. Meanwhile, Sklum is already happily sending me automated emails asking if I am happy with my purchase. They clearly have no internal tracking or clue whether the goods have even arrived. The chairs are still not here, and the communication and service from their transport partner have been highly inefficient and customer-unfriendly so far.
UPDATE: I received no email response from Sklum after my ultimatum. Instead,
I unexpectedly received a day later (29 mei ) a message from the transport company, Dachser After calling them myself, it turned out delivery was that same afternoon.The order was left at my doorstep on a disposable pallet. The driver refused to take it back, forcing me to unbox everything on the street. Fortunately, the chairs themselves are top quality, securely packaged, and easy to assemble. They look beautiful and are very comfortable.
If Sklum fixes their logistics and communication, this would be a 5-star experience. Due to all the hassle and lack of service,
I am updating my rating to 3 stars.
