Food Not Delivered, No Refund Given

Rating should be zero stars. I placed a $33.60 food order, including a 15% tip, and the order was not delivered. It was a simple order from Chipotle, to a house that was extremely easy to find. We never received any delivery confirmation, just a survey to rate the driver.
Despite multiple attempts to communicate with customer service, Skip The Dishes refused to refund my money. There was no way to speak to an actual agent - only chat bots and email. I received an email saying that due to the high number of refund requests made they would not acknowledge my refund or communicate any further about the issue. I made one request for one refund, period.
So essentially the driver stole our order and we are on the hook for paying for it. This is just unacceptable, and the customer service I received was absolutely terrible. Do not use Skip The Dishes.

SKIP THE DISHES/ FRAUDSTERS

Skip the Dishes Canada frauded me $104.78 on March 20 2026
$15 tip to this pos driver deliverer.
He has ONE simple task/ job which requires ZERO brain and STILL he messes it up!
The driver rang my doorbell to say my food was all over the trunk in his car as the bag got wet so he can't deliver me any food.
Skip the Dishes refuses to refund me.
They have lost me as a customer for life and I am giving them bad word of mouth all over the City and internet and BBB etc. Next step is a lawyer [ a friend]

We ordered $103 worth of food...wrong…

We ordered $103 worth of food...wrong ordered was delivered. Skip would only credit $87 and refused to let me speak with a supervisor. So to reorder cost me $16 more since Skip was difficult even though it's their platform. Garbage customer service and waiting for dinner over an hour late.

If I could give a 1 star

If I could give a 1 star, I would. Not only did it take 1.5 hours to get our food, it arrived cold. When tracking, it looks like the driver went the wrong way, then made 2 stops. When he delivered to our door, he didn't even have a thermal bag. Was given a gift card....but I won't use them again!

Tired of the hassle.

It is March 17 2026. On January 27 2026 I placed an order with skip the dishes for a product. It went thru twice, so I was charged twice. 1 of the same 2 products was canceled. However of course my money wasn't. I contacted the support online and got someone and gave them the order number. I was given the option of a refund to my credit card or skip points. I chose a refund to my credit card. Well , 3 days ago on March 14th I tried to contact skip once again to inform them that I did not receive a refund. However , the reply was Sorry message and to retry. I tried and tried again. Yesterday on the 16th of March, I sent an email to them. No reply. I sent another contact support and received, Sorry, try again. I tired of the wasted time to get no- where. I'm a senior living off cpp and $29.23 is money that will help with my monthly expenses. It's getting to be that I'm feeling grateful just to receive a delivery with cold food and someone who has a smile but doesn't understand a word of English. I will try to get a response from them in the future, however they will not receive another order from me. There are others or not.

If I could give 0 stars

If I could give 0 stars, I would. This morning I ordered from the Tim Hortons at La Fabrique in Aylmer through the Tim Hortons website. The delivery was done by Skip. I texted the driver my address twice, but he still delivered it to the wrong complex. He just left it at the doorstep without even knocking. What kind of service is that? If someone can’t even read an address properly, they shouldn’t be a delivery driver. They literally have one job. The driver’s name is Antoine from Aylmer, QC.

Skip needs to be shut down

I truly believe skip needs to be boycotted!!! In sudbury, skip ads up to 50 percent to the original price! And the drivers take multiple orders so 90 percent of the time it’s cold or the wrong order.. ordered burgers and fries for 3 of us and would normally be 51 dollars.
With skip it was 109 dollars with tip. That’s insane and it was so cold we
Could not enjoy anything. And no customer service at all. Skip
Needs to go!! They are all
Similar ( uber/door dash) but customer
Service is way better with them.

I'm so sick of this company

I'm so sick of this company. Their drivers CLEARY pick and choose the orders. Your order will be picked up then they drive to the other side of city. I tip well always, but I wish there was an option to change your top afterwards. I didn't tip 20% to watch my food being driven all over the city. Then I get cold food. Just done. I won't ever use them again.

I ordered food and it made me and my gf…

I ordered food and it made me and my gf very sick. I messaged them where they told me I couldn’t get any refund because of previous refund requests. I literally had never made a refund request before this and had ordered on this account many times. They went ghost when I explained this.

Not Classy, Skip, Not Classy!

I ordered from a near by restaurant, but noticed that the driver went to pick up my delivery and did not move for quite some time, so I contacted them to learn their car broke down. I contacted a rep at Skip The Dishes and requested my order be redone and redelivered, but was told the order was canceled and a credit was issued and that there would be No restitution or compensation for this mistake, just sorry - try again. Not Classy!
