Predatory Financial System
Hi, I simply wanted to convert my steam balance into paypal, which SkinSwap in a way offers as a cashout option for your Steam Skins. Upon trying this I mistakenly converted my Skins into site balance rather than Paypal, with no way of undoing or reverting said trade, locking all my money onto the site, losing 15% of my balance in an instant. I now have to buy back the skins for a markup, and wait another week to convert my funds to paypal. Support was completely worthless and uninformative as well. Won't be coming back after I get what's left of my money. Greed.

Thank you for your feedback. Our platform clearly separates the Sell page for converting skins to cash and the Trade page for trading skins for site balance. These are two distinct sections with clear labels before any action is confirmed.
Unfortunately once a trade is completed it cannot be reversed, as this is disclosed before confirmation.
Filter for pattern is fake
Filter for pattern is fake, seller was able to trade a 216 pattern as a 16, which we all know in cs is matter of 5€ or 2000€. Which is completely unacceptable. Support isn't helping to this matter whatsoever

Pricing, P2P trading
Pricing, p2p fails, cant inspect item(s) before buying it to even see the pattern id since they don't list it among other failures..
just get rid of p2p its failure of a system cant view wear or item before buying in 2026.
Even with non-p2p items not having any info should be illegal or atleast be cheaper than steam.
Bad support as well.

Completely safe and very quick
Tbh I was very skeptical before pursuing the trade offer since it was a trade offer worth 310 euros. I gave 4 skins and was supposed to get 5 in return. The first trade offer was me giving away all my skins and getting only one in return, but apparently that's how they do it here. I kissed my teeth and accepted the trade offer, and not even 30seconds later I got the remaining 4 trade offers. Everything went smoothly, no issues whatsoever. Highly recommend

New user tried to buy a skin but transaction failed after depositing and skin no longer available and stuck with the money I deposited
New first time user and left disappointed I saw a skin listed with instant trade and the float I wanted so I went through the process of buying the skin which required making an account and deposit the money into the website to buy the skin but little did I know that I would never see that skin again I went ahead and tried purchasing the skin but got a transaction error that the trade failed to be accepted and that if I didn’t reject it that my account is not secure but it did not make sense since I never got the trade offer but I was relived that money was still in my account and the skin was still available so I tried again but got the same error again. This time I don’t see the skin listed any more I was left gutted and disappointed with the money I deposited being stuck in this site without being able to buy the skin I wanted I had to waste the balance on item I didn’t really want.

Very bad experience
Very bad experience. I buy knife yesterday on SkinSwap for 193 dollars from another player. Site say if player not send item in 12 hours, money come back automatic. Now already 26 hours pass and I not get knife and also not get money back.
This is not correct and not fair. I wait long time and nothing happen. Support also not help fast. I lose time and money and no answer.
I not recommend this site if problem like this not fix. I want my money back or item now.

Awful experience
Awful experience. First of all, oyur deposits will go through "NEEDS APPROVAL" state, which for me is been in review for more than 20 hours already.
Then, the deposit bonus is not applicable to market, only to trading, where items prices are also 40% up.
This platform is a joke and I don't know why one would want to trade here. Support is useless, not providing any useful information and answering with pretty big delay compared to other trading websites.

Regarding the deposit bonus this is clearly documented in our Terms of Service and on-site panels. The 40% bonus applies exclusively to the Trade page, where item prices also reflect that bonus. The Market page uses standard fiat balance only, with prices listed accordingly. The two pages operate as separate systems with matching balances and prices in each.

Great experience overall
I have made quite a decent ammount of transactions using the site, overall i am very happy with my experience, completed over 25 trades so far and I can say that the site is worth using. Since my last review they had also lowered the fee on chinese market section and added insta buy options which is great if you are looking for a quick exchange, i have had 1 issue but it got resolved the same day it happened so I can't complain. I recommend using this site to find great deals on skins(just bought a ★ Ursus Knife | Doppler Phase 3 with ★ Moto Gloves | Polygon :D) (ALSO Jop great support agent shoutout to the goat) if you are looking for the spot to get good deals its here. 10/10
