My mother was in Wilson Skilled Care…

My mother was in Wilson Skilled Care Facilty from end of March to 5/15/20.
She didn’t receive all her meds that she was prescribed by doctor that visits the facility regularly for patient care while the resident is in the facility otherwise they do have to take residents to doctors appointments as well if need be and scheduled
She went in with 4 brand new bras from QVC that she was still making payments for to have them disappear before she was released from the facility they said they were going to pay for her at least one of the bras she had disappear that were Breezy bras from QVC not cheap and Nichole never returned my moms call she’s a social worker there and Leah is the director of the facility she was to figure out why the Breezy bras weren’t delivered or came in mail that supposedly the facility was going to fix. Nothing still today 7/18/2020 returned phone call of where’s the Breezy bras she went in with but didn’t leave with. She was to be never given her prescribed nebulizer meds 3 times a day for the entire time she was there that’s 2 or so months and has COPD. They changed her anxiety meds as well her blood pressure was funny then but Covid 19 was quarantined where no family or anybody allowed in facility but the workers. People were doing face time together or visit through a window. But was getting minimal care and if she said anything she received less care or ignored basically neglected because they were not paying attention to her needs and wants and they get paid for this lack of care and the insurance companies and Medicaid and a Medicare pay $4,440 a month for basic care there and she received or supposed to have had Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy as well like the hospital and clinic wanted her to have to regain her strength and get better at certain things she was so weak she couldn’t live by herself like she had and receive the same amount of care she needed at that time to have close or assisted living care with Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy as well supposed to be able to get more frequent and have opportunities for them to make her walk better and stand and do for herself more than she was able to at that time and Home Healthcare doesn’t do 24 hr care to much especially Medicaid pay for the care but will Skilled Care Facilty or Long Term Care which is fancy way of trying to be able to do or have assisted living residents and Nursing Home Care in same facilities but Nursing homes so under staffed or bad care is ridiculous that these places receive state and federal funds and private insurance pays or just straight out of pocket expense $4,440 a month to reside or live in one a month if not more because of the staffing and all costs. Is crazy how much $/month to reside in these facilities and get bad or no care and neglect or abused from staff. Who get paid to have job and they want the check but not to work or help the person who give them a job residents do and they are abused or get no care Sadly happens a lot. This facility is rated a 1 Star by SkilledFacilityCare.com and has other reviews as well. My mother had an infection beyond words because of the lack of care she received that Medicaid and Medicare paid for and Medicare they maxed out payment there for care. I gave her a shower that took 6hrs to get her clean and clean up the infection she had up that she had even down to her feet. I took pics of the yeast infection she had and the iron burn she had the length of her forearm left still has today from a iron iv transfusion that they blew a vein giving her the iron transfusion and now she’s got an iron burn and stain the length of her forearm left. I applied Bactrim and Nystatin on luckily she had left over on hand to start to kill off the horrible infection she had gotten while she was being cared for 24/7 in Wilson Skilled Care Facilty this infection had to be dealt with to get under control and not wait for Angel Care to start back up or See doctor that Tuesday 4 days away. So she had her dignity and care I took photos of the infection and severity of infection and her iv blow out of iron that wasn’t being watched closely for her iron transfusion to be successful in getting iron in her body and not having a vein blown out because lack of being skilled enough to administer and IV or iron in an IV. She’s very anemic. She’s has an iron burn stain the length of her forearm left. She had a sever yeast infection and UTI as well that she was given oral antibiotics 2 for yeast infection and a cream nystatin for as well and usually oral Diflucan Is 3 days she was given a weeks worth 7 days. The UTI she had an antibiotic doxycycline for and when treating her legs and feet and other places had to make a paste of the Bactrim & Nystatin Togther and apply 3x daily till cleared up legs and feet and other spots. Went to get her glasses fitted for her finally. She was having COPD issues and had a 15 minute
