This Bike is Fantastic!
First off I'd like to just say that this bike has been an absolute godsend! I'm a musician called "The Bicycling Musician" that goes busking in public from time to time, and my only mode of transportation has always been my bicycle. But it's always so draining for my body getting there while carrying my instruments, especially going back home since the return trip is all up hill. I went as far as building a box out of plywood that I bolted to the back of my old bike to take the weight off my back, but it was still always a difficult trip to go out and share my music with the public. So much so that it would deter me from going all together. Ever since I finally saved up enough to buy the electric trike from you guys, it has been A DREAM! The basket is perfect for holding my accordion and violin. I strap them down with straps I made for the box on my previous bike. Now I'm cruising up hills that normally I would be walking up while pushing my bike, tired and out of breath. I ended up picking the cream colored trike and I absolutely love it. I've gotten so many compliments and head turns while taking it out, it's definitely a looker! I decided to name it Buttercup because of the color, and I plan on composing a song named after it at somepoint in the future. It was worth every penny.
So far so good
So far so good! The trike they sent had a couple issues when assembling it. They quickly organized sending me a new one. Fingers crossed that it works!! The team was very helpful and responsive. Shout out to Emil for helping me!
Think carefully about using this company
Wow - where to start. First, the wrong bike was sent, and it took 8 weeks to receive the correct bike. Once the e-trike arrived, I had it professionally assembled and took it for a test ride. Within a few blocks of peddling, I realized this definitly is not the bike for me. I immediately had the bike professionally deassmbled and sent back for return. After 5 weeks of attempting to get my refund I had have a lawyer get involved to revolve the issue. I want to give them the benefit of the doubt as I beleive they are a small company and I love supporting small businesses and honestly I would have understood the accidental shipment of the wrong bike and I would have been fine with the whole hassle of everything had I not needed a lawyer to finally get my money back. Needing a lawyer to get a refund is what prompted me to finally write this review as I want others to know what they may be getting into.
Helpful Customer Service
I was having trouble registering my bike on the website after getting it, and e-mailed customer service to see if I was missing something on the website. It turned out that there was an issue with the site at the time, and Rizelle helped to get my bike registered via e-mail instead. The response was in a reasonable amount of time, and took care of the issue without a lot of fuss.
Top notch customer service with great…
Top notch customer service with great communication!
Terrible quality control and customer service
we drove from LA down to San Clemente for a test ride and bought the bike on the spot. It was set to be delivered a few days later and firstly they tried to deliver on a Friday when no one was home I told them that no one was there and had set up the delivery for Monday Friday came I get a phone call saying that the driver is on the way get that resolved delivery comes Monday I set the bike up on Tuesday and the bike clearly was never checked for quality control. The back tire was flat there was a bolt missing on the foot pad and there was also a random bolt just in the bottom of the box who knows where it came from. The front tire was put on and the bike makes a very strange noise when in motion. I immediately reached out to customer service was told that I would get a response back after sending in my videos and photos of the bike and have had to spend the last two hours trying to get my issue resolved. Do yourself a favor do not buy anything from this company literally the worst customer service experience I have ever had and clearly they do not do quality control when sending out a product
Love my bike
Love my bike. I got the sky marigold color and it’s gorgeous. Smooth to ride and comfortable. Easy to build.
Amazing customer service
Amazing customer service. My bike was sold out, and they helped me get a replacement for free. Shout out to Rizelle in Customer Service for their amazing service and prompt responses. 10/10 would recommend people to buy from them.
Excellent Customer Service
Excellent customer service. Emil was very helpful and responded quickly. Love the bike as well, great quality!
A High-Quality Bike Option for Everyone!
I am getting back on a bike for the first time in 20+ years - and found sixthreezero from a YouTube video, explaining how easy the EVRYjourney is for "beginners". My bike arrived quickly and had clear assembly instructions. It's BEAUTIFUL and high quality, and easy to ride! One small part had an issue (the quick-release skewer), but I emailed their Customer Service and it was resolved right away by Emil, who was so helpful and friendly. I like how many different options sixthreezero offers (literally a bike for everyone!) and how many videos and support options they have. Thanks a bunch!
If I could give negative stars I would
If I could give negative stars, I would. Dealing with this company has been the worst experience with a company in my life.
We bought my husband a trike. We had a number of smaller issues, and tried to reach out to customer support. Their default is to refer you to the website. However, they take a very long time to respond (one email apparently sat in their spam folder for 19 days). When he told them the brakes aren't working well, he was told that it's normal for etrike brakes to be different (even though he told them they really don't work well - you squeeze and nothing). We even took it into the shop, and they said that the brakes do need repair, but we should try and get it covered under warranty. So we reached out to sixthreezero to ask about that, and no reply.
We decided after three weeks that the trike wasn't working for him and the lack of customer support was distressing, so we began the process of returning the trike while we still could (according to the website. The initial step was simple - we got a confirmation email that told us to wait for approval and they would send us directions. After a week of calling/using livechat/emailing, I posted a negative review on the Shop App (where we purchased the trike) to get approval. But here's the rub - they said that the instructions on how to return the trike will come by email. The support person on LiveChat said she sent the email, but I never received it (20 minutes checking all folders, spam, junk and trash). So I asked them to resend it. A week later, several phone calls (where I was sent to voicemail but never received a reply), LiveChats, and emails later, I still haven't received the email with the instructions. I did get a reply, which asked me why I want to return the trike and told me I needed to get approval.
This is the most dishonest company ever. The product is substandard, they won't provide support and they're refusing to honor their promise of a 30-day trial.
I can't emphasize enough -- keep away from this company.
We LOVE our SixThreeZero bikes!!
We LOVE our SixThreeZero bikes!!! We ride them around the neighborhood, of course, and we also take them with us whenever we go camping – which is what we love to do the most with them! 🚲💖
So far we’ve taken them camping at the beach and this past May, we camped in Yosemite and rode our bikes all around Yosemite Valley every day for an entire week and had an absolute b-l-a-s-t!!!
People have stopped us to ask us about the bikes, some noticing the forward pedaling – which is the thing we love most about them – and asking us “Where did you get your bikes?” Good times!
Keep up the good work!!!
Denise & Joey
Never sent bike, refused to refund visa
Refusing refund for bike never sent. Lack of work ethic in customer support, or just lazy and irresponsible. Do not return calls. Do not return emails. Do not buy the lifetime warranty, because they will never honor it; they will dodge you. They ghost you once a sale is made. When I reached someone, I cancelled my bike order. So, of course, it was never sent. But they refused to issue my refund to my credit card. I had to call VISA and file a complaint for a refund.
First off
First off, let me see the bike looks great. I got the every journey steel and the in the color buttercream. However, the great look of the bike does not make up for the customer service. I the experience with this company was horrible. First off my bike was delayed in the delivery by over a month. I called customer service four separate times on one occasion, they didn’t even pick up and for the other two times they ran me around the corner saying they weren’t very sure about where it would arrive. It was only till I called them a week before I got the bike. Did they finally give me a straight answer about what was going on The bike finally arrived and I was very happy to see it however, when I went to go put it together two days later I realized I was missing a part, the bike post, I have called them two separate times to try and remedy this however they have yet to pick up the phone. The reason I bought the bike because I needed to get around my college campus when I go back to college I leave for college in two days and there’s no way they can send me the part in time to be able to get it. I’m essentially stuck with a useless junk and they won’t pick up the phone. Yes, the bike looks great and it rolls really well. However, the customer service is deplorable.
Great experience with Sixthreezero support.
I have had my Sixthreezero Easy Transit E-Trike since they shipped in 2023. Recently I started having problems with the PAS and throttle only modes. Power was limited and I found that I needed to turn power off (via the control buttons) and back on again to energize the motor.
I called Sixthreezero support and talked with Emil. He listened, validated, and quickly diagnosed the issue as the controller. He checked their inventory and emailed a portal for me to purchase a replacement.
He was supportive, efficient and professional.
Replacing bike in less than 3 years of very light use
In 2021, I purchased a Evry Journey bike and I loved it.
I bike very casually with my small family. We go on paved bike trails like the Cape Cod Rail trail for trips under 10 miles round trip.
My wife has a Fuji bike that I bought her 24 years ago. It is still running great. We have not had to replace any parts.
My SixThreeZero bike is not. I am constantly fixing it.
Three years ago, when the bike was just two years old, it almost killed me. The front fender brace snapped while I was riding on the side of the road. The fender came loose, and the remains of the brace caused it to lurch into traffic. It simply broke because the part is poor quality.
I was lucky the driver saw what happened and stopped before hitting me.
Since then I tried to get a replacement part for the fender. It was a battle with their support team. They said they did not have the part and didn't know when they would. That basically killed the rest of the summer.
My wife had surgery on her feet the next two summers. So we couldn't ride. We looked forward to ride this summer, but could not find the time until this weekend.
To prepare I tried again to get the part to fix the fender before summer. Support had me purchase the part through them because it was not available to me directly. I got it before summer and tried to install in August.
It does not seem like the right part The screws were too lage for the holes in the brace. I eventually got it to work, but now the fender rubbed on the tire. I ended up removing the fender.
I was then adjusting the front brake because I had to remove the tire, and the cheap aluminum noodle that connects the brake arms snapped, rendering the brake useless.
I have included pictures.
I have had other issues with the bike. The handlebars shift and get out of line with the front tire with the slightest of force. They also drop down if any pressure is put on them. I had to learn not to put any weight on them.
The bike looks great but really only lasted a year. The quality is poor, and after 3 years of actual light use, I am forced to buy a new bike.
Caution is advised for consideration
Caution is advised for consideration. We had purchased 2 Sixthreezero e-bikes 3 years ago, and we have had many costly replacements. We have concluded the cheapest products were initially installed with these bikes and some of the most expensive batteries replacements are required.
Brake calipers, brakes and brake line cables all replaced with much better. Tires and tubes cheap garbage. Carrier rack and kick stand replaced.
We even hade to upgrade all the spokes to a thicker gage because the spokes kept breaking. These spoke replacements were especially expensive upgrades.
We do have 5K miles on each of our Six Three Zero Bikes, but the upgrades were early on before we upgraded with much better replacement products. We basically purchased a frame and motors. The batteries are the last straw for us. The bikes were originally delivered with one battery each, we have gone through three more batteries which were once $350.00 and are now we are finding $500.00 each.
They do not even recycle or refurbish the batteries. So, $500 each for more. Now we have found they do not even have battery replacements at this time, and can not say when more will be available. We are now researching changing these battery packs to an alternative too!!!
Helpful Customer Service
I had a very positive customer service experience with Cora.
Bought two bikes and we love them
Bought two bikes and we love them. We had a problem with one of the bikes when assembling it. We contacted Sixthreezero customer service and after two weeks of troubleshooting and pictures, it was determined by Sixthreezero the frame was bent. Sixthreezero sent a replacement immediately. The replacement bike assembled without any issue. During this process, the representatives were very courteous and helpful as they explained why the troubleshooting was taking two weeks. We will definitely buy from Sixthreezero for our next bikes.
I Love My sixthreezero E-bike
I've had my e-bike for about 9 months. I love it! There is a connecting trail directing behind where I live to the main trails along the Mission Reach of the San Antonio River. The trail system here is fantastic! You can go for miles and miles on the extensive trail systems. The trails pass by all four of the missions along the river. They are all World Heritage Sites built in the 1700s. Riding along the river trails gives you the feeling of truly being in nature. I have seen wild turkeys, fox, rabbits, turtles, and many water birds. The wild flowers and flowering trees this spring were such a joy to ride by. I am so glad I got my e-bike!
