Great experience and Kerm my advisor was wonderful 5 star experience.
Great experience at Sixt Miami Downtown. The process was fast and smooth, and the car was clean and in perfect condition.
Ricardo was outstanding—very attentive, friendly, and helpful. He made everything easy.
Highly recommend this location.
This SIXT+ experience raised serious concerns about billing integrity and consumer treatment. The issue was not “a mistake,” it was a pattern of opaque charges, shifting explanations in writing, and partial “goodwill” adjustments that made it difficult to determine what was legitimately owed versus what was being captured and later reframed.
I was hit with significant invoice-style charges under the subscription, followed by inconsistent written narratives from different SIXT representatives describing the same transaction history in different ways. When a company’s internal explanations change depending on who responds, especially after a dispute is opened, it creates a strong appearance of deceptive billing practices and potential unfair enrichment at the consumer’s expense.
What makes this especially troubling is the lack of transparent reconciliation. A subscription service handling recurring payments should be able to produce a clean ledger that matches the actual card activity: charge basis, calculation method, adjustments, and refunds, consistently, and without contradictions. Instead, the burden was shifted onto me to collect receipts, reconstruct their timeline, and push repeatedly for basic accountability.
Based on my experience, I believe this warrants regulatory attention. Consumers should be extremely cautious with SIXT+ and should assume that if a billing dispute occurs, the process may become exhausting, inconsistent, and documentation-heavy.
Given the seriousness of the inconsistencies and the lack of transparent reconciliation, I believe SIXT’s subscription billing and dispute practices should be thoroughly reviewed by consumer-protection and regulatory entities. I am preparing to pursue formal legal remedies to resolve my case and to ensure the record becomes public. I also intend to share my documented experience (with supporting records) in relevant consumer and automotive communities so other customers can make informed decisions.
Convenient, cost effective and easy way to rent on a monthly basis and pause subscription. The reps are friendly and courteous.

I’ve been a SIXT+ subscription client for over a year, and I continue to be very pleased with the service. The convenience, reliability, and overall value of their subscription plan truly stand out—it's one of the best options currently on the market in my opinion.
During my time with SIXT, I did experience one issue with a local branch. However, what impressed me most was how quickly and professionally top management stepped in to resolve the problem. They took my complaint seriously, communicated clearly, and ensured everything was handled to my satisfaction. Their commitment to customer care made a huge difference and reinforced my confidence in the company.
I genuinely appreciate the way SIXT resolved my issue, and based on my experience, I would confidently recommend them to anyone considering a car subscription service. Excellent service, great value, and responsive support—thank you, SIXT!

I’ve been a Sixt Corporate Subscription Plus member for over three years and consistently receive outstanding service. The teams at both the West Palm Beach and Boca Raton locations are enthusiastic, professional, and truly provide personalized assistance. Special thanks to Peter in Boca and Irina and Jessica in West Palm for always going above and beyond. Kane and Marc are the best reps I could ask for.

I’ve been using the Sixt long-term subscription rental service for over two years, and I can honestly say it has been one of the best car rental experiences I’ve ever had.
From the very first airport pickup to every return along the way, the entire process has been smooth, professional, and completely transparent. The check-in experience at the airport is always efficient and friendly, the cars have consistently been excellent, and the overall quality of the fleet has exceeded my expectations.
What really stands out about Sixt is the clarity and honesty of the rental process. There are no hidden surprises, no confusing charges, and everything is explained clearly. That level of transparency is rare in the car rental industry.
The customer service has also been outstanding. Anytime I’ve had a question or needed assistance, the staff has been responsive, knowledgeable, and genuinely helpful.
After more than two years of using the subscription service, I can confidently say that Sixt delivers exactly what they promise — great cars, excellent service, and a seamless experience from start to finish.
Highly recommended

I started a SIXT subscription in Nov 2024. It was fine at first, but turned into an expensive, dangerous nightmare. If you are considering them, read this first:
• Aug 2025 (Collections for THEIR tires): SIXT told me to take my car to Pep Boys for bald tires. Pep Boys only changed 3. SIXT ignored my emails about it and sent a $1,000 "damage deductible" straight to my credit report via collections.
• Oct 2025 (Stranded for 12 hours): The 4th tire blew on the highway. I waited 8 hours (6 PM to 2 AM) for a tow. The replacement car arrived with a low-pressure tire light on. The very next day, THAT tire blew in NY. Stranded for another 4 hours.
• Nov 2025 (Defective, dangerous cars): My third car had total electrical failure—no horn, no blinkers, freezing radio, and heated seats stuck blasting on a hot Atlanta day. When I went to swap it at the ATL airport, a manager refused to walk across the street to help me retrieve the car from the wrong garage, making me sweat and jump through hoops while he sat on his phone doing nothing.
• Jan 2026 (Spiteful Management): Forced to swap cars because mine was "sold." I arrived on my lunch break for a 10 AM appointment. The same lazy manager refused to honor it, took my keys, left me stranded, and vindictively canceled my subscription over the walkie-talkie. Another rep eventually had to fix his mess.
• Mar 2026 (Paying $1,222 for NO CAR): I was in a not-at-fault accident. SIXT said they wouldn't replace the car until the wrecked one was recovered from impound. Two days later, while I had NO car, they charged my card the $1,222 monthly fee.
After a week of waiting with no car, I filed a chargeback. They magically found a car 5 days later, so I canceled the chargeback to get it. SIXT then refused to give me the car anyway, saying "accounting in Germany" had to clear the temporary credit. After 3 days of waiting and customer service hanging up on me, I reopened the chargeback with Capital One.
Do not use this company. They will strand you, charge you for cars you don't have, and ruin your credit.
Oh and they sent me another $1000 bill for the car they delivered with a bad tire. For your records, here is the timeline of events that led to this reopened chargeback:
11/24: started subscription.
08/25: Needed new tires
10/25: 7 Hours sitting in the side of highway and car swapped.
10/25: 4 hours of sitting in the side of the highway and car swapped.
11/25: hot air, 2 hours wrong parking lot and car swapped
01/26: car sold, subscription canceled, 3 hours wait, Car swapped.
02/26: Car accident.
• 02/04: The accident occurred. Before the car was towed, I called SIXT Roadside for a SIXT tow. The representative explicitly told me not to worry about it and to "call back after everything is done."
• 02/08: SIXT charged me $1,222 for another month, despite the car being out of commission.
• 02/11: I filed the initial dispute with Capital One. By this point, I had already spent $700 on commuting fees for work.
• 02/13: I found out the car was recovered from the impound. In good faith, I called Capital One and canceled the chargeback. I then saw the Miami branch canceled my subscription; I changed it to "pause" and contacted customer service to fix it.
• 02/17 to 02/27: After continued failures from SIXT to provide a vehicle, I was forced to get an Enterprise rental out-of-pocket ($550), plus an additional $1,300 in Uber fees from 02/04 to 02/17.
• 02/27 to 03/02: After we spoke, I still had no resolution, forcing me to extend with Enterprise for another rental ($300).
• 03/02: I called SIXT this morning, was hung up on twice, and reopened the chargeback.
I am no longer willing to accept vague "sliding scale" timeframes from your Accounting Team while I continue to spend money on alternative transportation

I’ve rented from Sixt several times in the UK now and not had any issues, for both short term rentals and a subscription car. There are always some adjustments to be made based on availability of cars but I’ve always received a new or newly new car and was charged exactly as agreed.

The best rental car company I've ever did business with. I've been in one of their cars for the last 28 months straight. My last visit was a week ago to the Logan Airport location in Boston, Massachusetts. I dealt with a service rep by the name of Jasmine and she was excellent. I will keep renting from Sixt as long as the prices remain the same.

I had a specific car that I wanted to rent for 4 month. They had what I wanted and provided me with the car with 6,000 miles on it. The agreement processing was easy and The only issue will be the return so make sure you have photographs of the car at the time of pick up
I cancelled my reservation 1 hour before i was supposed to pick up the car. They still insist on charging me 100 % of the rental price in violation of the agreement.
One star for the sole reason that you guys use AI generated content to make your ads. You money hungry company, hire real people again!!!
Received an email due to this experience from US customer services. Asking me to send more information and how they take this seriously blah blah, Sent the info promptly basically saying that all I am guilty of was trying to be a customer!. No reply as yet and not holding out much hope, not sure about others but another absolute hate is that the person sending the email from CS is highly likely not the person to follow up so by the time you get to the 5th pedson your original query is totally lost as nobody can be bothered reading up!! Tip for the rest of companies toting great CS experience, ONE SINGER ONE SONG, 1 person neginning to end!!!..............A complete shambles , no cars as advertised, website not functional, emailed customer service 4 times no reply, called their helpline and noone knew what to do. Congratulations to Konstantin and Alexander Sixt for shouting how good their digital experience is! 🙄🤣
What a horrible company
I made a reservation for a car at $70 per day, and for 4 days so ~$280.- then I added toll road and insurance.
Clicked pay for then realizing SIXTH had added a Prepaid Fee of $171!!! Something I don't even know what is, so I called and thet said "Oh that is if you want to expend or rent another car and other time???!!!!!" I think they are using some cheap Phillipines call center as I could't understand what they guy said.
So they just scammed me for $171!!!
So rent a Toyota Camry for 4 days and pay $800!! They are a complete joke. -Did another booking and then it was $540 before I clicked pay (which I obvious didn't do) So they trick you to order, and then they scam $170 of you when you pay.
Then I wanted to cancel, of course, then the was a $100 cancel fee -They are really something.
Never ever again!!!
