Eleanor has been looking after our two dogs and home whilst we are abroad on holiday for many years now and she is fantastic. Instead of our usual routine of taking our Saint Bernard to the kennel for a stay, we had to explore other options this time. I spent several days browsing online, diving into reviews and analyzing website designs to evaluate which service we could trust to care for our home and pet during our absence. Many platforms seemed mediocre, either lacking sufficient reviews or resembling an ordinary person moving in temporarily. Yet, one website stood out for its professional and well-organized presentation, clearly showcasing its offerings.Upon reaching out to Eleanor for a quote and availability, I was pleasantly surprised to discover that the service entailed more than just basic care. Detailed requirements were covered, such as the pet's needs, medical information, daily routine, and feeding patterns. What impressed me was the structured and easily accessible process I had to complete before the house sitting began, which added an extra layer of assurance. Meeting Eleanor beforehand also proved beneficial, allowing us to discuss any concerns face-to-face.Throughout our absence, everything ran seamlessly. We received updates on our dog's well-being, including details on her walks, feeding, and overall mood. The house was maintained and respected as promised. Upon our return, there were no issues, and I would gladly use Eleanor's services again in the future, keeping in mind the need to plan ahead due to high demand.

We've used Eleanor and her team for years. Wouldn't leave my dog with anyone else. We can relax when were away knowing our dog is in good hands. In fact I think sometimes wishes we hadn't come home!

Eleanor is great and our dogs love her. She does a great job of looking after them whilst we are away and it’s very reassuring to know that she is at our home looking after everything whilst we are away. We enjoy our holidays more knowing that our dogs and house are looked after by Eleanor. She sends a daily video of the dogs, which is always nice to see whilst we are away.

I can’t recommend Sitter4Pets highly enough! From start to finish, the communication and service were friendly, professional, and reassuring. I received regular updates via the service portal and WhatsApp, which really put my mind at ease while I was away.

Our two cats, Poppy and Penny, seemed so content and clearly received lots of attention and care. It was obvious they were loved rather than just “looked after.”

I also felt completely reassured about the security of my home throughout. Coming back, I was amazed to find the house exceptionally clean, with fresh linen. It was even better than how I left it, and I had put in a serious effort before I went away!

The little notes left for us on arrival were a lovely personal touch, and to top it off, there was even a pint of milk in the fridge. What an angel!

Worth every penny. When you consider the cost of catteries, where my girls would have been caged and not loved, this was excellent value for money. Plus, you get the added benefit of home security and happy cats in their own environment.

I would use this service again in a heartbeat. Having experienced it once, it completely removes that element of worry from any future planned holidays.

Our usual go to when boarding our Saint Bernard is to drive her too the kennel's for the duration then to pick her up at the end. This time it was not a option so other solutions were needed.
I searched online over many days reading reviews and generally taking in information about how the websites looked and trying to judge what type business i was about to let stay in my home for a prolonged period based on agreement i was paying for.
Some looked ok with a few reviews and some looked liked you were just asking the average joe to come live in your house.
One site however stood out and seemed to better laid out, more business like and generally just more professional in the way it presented the services it had to offer
After contacting Eleanor initially for a quote and availability, what I thought might be just basic requirements was thankfully much more than that. Including things like your pets requirements , medical needs if needed routine of a normal day and feeding habits etc
what I liked about this is, It wasn't just written on a email but a within a very comprehensive but easy to follow process that was given access to me and required to be completed before the house sit began
Also the requirement to meet before the sit was also good so any questions could be answered face to face if needed.
All this made the period we required run smoothly and without any issues. whilst away we were informed as to how the dog was doing during walks feeding and general mood etc our home was looked after and respected as promised and on return i have no issues with potently using Eleanor's services in the future. Although I'm well aware that plans need to be made as demand is high.

Fantastic Service as Always!
Yet again a brilliant sit by Eleanor, who never fails to let keep us so well informed of Finns day. She not only looks after Finn so well but keeps our house clean and tidy whilst staying with us. Eleanor has done so many sits with us now that we can always book her knowing things will go smoothly. Finn is always relaxed with her and so are we whilst we are away!

Absolutely top-class – Eleanor is great with our dogs, knows all their little foibles and gives us tips about their care and training. It’s great to leave both the dogs and our house in such good hands. The videos of their waggy tails and cheeky faces are much appreciated while we’re away too! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Sitter4Pets to anyone.

Having had Eleanor pet sit for us before with our previous cat ,I knew Sweep would be very well cared for .
We were kept updated daily with messages ,photos & videos.which we really appreciated.
On return we had a very happy cat who loves to be in his own home ..and beautifully clean home .

Eleanor has looked after my 2 cats a few times and has once again done a great job with help from her lovely Mum.Mimi has a few behavioural issues at 17 but Eleanor takes it in her stride and I returned to happy cats.I could relax and enjoy my holiday knowing they were well cared for.The daily messages and videos are also very reassuring and once again I came back to a lovely clean house Thank you x

Yet again we have been able to have a few days holiday knowing our Bichon Daisy was being spoilt and well looked after by Eleanor. It was nice also to come home to a lovely clean house!

5 star service!, Yet again , excellent service having used Eleanor previously a number of times before, Continues to provide consistent and high level professional service. My house has never looked so clean as was spotless on return from holiday, cats were happy !

Eleanor did another pet sit for us this weekend and was fantastic as usual!
She was right on time, her communication is fantastic and she is wonderful with our dog who can be a bit much as he’s a rescue.
She also left our home immaculate as usual. I can’t recommend her enough.

As always - amazing sit.
The portal is amazing and has absolutely everything included that your sitter will need. The do’s and don’ts. The communication is second to none as you receive updates throughout and have no need to worry. You also receive plenty of comms before the sit too.
The sitters do everything you would do like putting your bins out on the correct day etc so it’s great knowing everything is taken care of.

Eleanor is always reachable and has great advice. Even when you have to ring her the day before you go away because your having a mini meltdown that your dog has come on heat the day before you go away.

I have massive anxiety when I go on holiday and a huge part of it is leaving my princess pooch. I am so at ease when I go away as I know my pooch is well looked after and cared for by a loving professional. I used to be so stressed about leaving her but she is so at ease with the team at Sitters for Pets.
I’ve used them multiple times and had multiple members stay and each time they leave my home spotless and my princess happy (she actually pines for them when we come home).

I can’t recommend them enough and I would not use / trust anyone else with my girl. If your dog is not just a pet and part of your family like ours - you struggle to find anyone who will treat them as well as you would in there own environment, but not with Sitters 4 Pets - they are fantastic!

Eleanor looked after our dog (Walter) for our wedding weekend and kept us up to date at all times with pictures, videos and text messages letting us know how he was.
Walter is a very nervous dog and we worry about leaving him, but we had absolutely no concerns leaving him with Eleanor. He was relaxed and happy in his own home and environment and we could fully relax knowing he was in great hands. We have used Eleanor before and definitely will be using again!
