Scammers !!!! I canceled in 2015!!!! 6 years ago . It’s September 2021 i randomly get a invoice stating I owe money cause my domain name was renewed. When I chat with them and asked who renewed it they wouldn’t answer just said they canceled, gave a refund and ended the chat. WATCH YOUR ACCOUNT!!! They will pull a fast one on you .

STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I tried every possible avenue to cancel this service after never once actually publishing a website. Three years and over $600 in charges later I finally had to change my checking account altogether to get them to stop stealing money from my account. I tried ever possible customer service option listed on their website and invoices and THEY WILL NOT ENGAGE. Totally ignored all inquiries and kept taking my money for three years.

I've been a customer of sitebuilder for 3 years. Adequate site but when I needed to cancel the troubles started. They won't hold my domain name without purchasing a page package, therefore I had to go elsewhere and transfer the domain. These morons messed that up and can't seem to understand their own problem. Still haven't unlocked the domain so I can transfer it.
Website wouldn't load
Website wouldn't load - we were told it was because we had too many photos. So we deleted all but 1 photo. It still took ages to load - the response? Their technical team confirmed that it was loading fine (despite us trying on multiple devices and all having the same issue of it taking a minute to load our home page). They then sent us an invoice of almost double our previous period for us to renew. Went with another site that is much faster, has better service and costs less
This is a very crooked company
This is a very crooked company. They will charge you renewal of service way ahead of the actual renewal date. Their excuse is so the service won’t be interrupted. Then they will give you a hard time canceling your service or get your money back. Stay away from this company

I guess I should of read the reviews before purchasing. Paid for service and cancelled soon after. Was told I was going to get a refund except for the domain. Got charged twice for the domain and never received a refund. Called back a few times and was told everything was good. Problem was never fixed. Dont waste your time with this company.

I cancelled my site with them 3 years ago via email and got a reply to advise everything was cancelled. I still get emails from them every year telling me my domain is up for renewal, I am going to chargeback any money taken via the bank this year and forward my emails to the bank as proof to ensure you dont get my money this time.
Absolutely usless staff, I'd suggest hiring staff who speak fluent English who actually understand it properly.

Their customer support is horrible. My company sells after market automotive parts and after testing the site to see if it could load products like all the other automotive parts websites where it allows you to mass load products and put them in search categories but I had no luck. The next day I reached out to the customer support staff that informed me their website builder does not have those functions, so I asked if they would please delete my subscription and they told me it won't be a problem. A few months now they have been charging my PayPal account, I don't keep a super close eye on this account but I just noticed today all the past charges. I decided to email the company this time and they told me they have zero record of me cancelling my account and that I need to email my cancelation in and that a verbal cancellation does not count.Then they told me they cannot refund any past charges even though they can see my account has had zero activity.

I can echo all of the other bad reviews on here. Terrible service, and when I tried to cancel REPEATEDLY, they continued to bill my debit card for months. I have several emails and phone conversations regarding closing the account, and I manually deleted my sites, yet they continue. I was forced to get a new card because of their antics. Not sure how to go about suing them in this case, or if it's worth it, but I would love to.

Just recieved an email saying they are taking £240 from my account for a site I thought stopped around a year ago.
Id never heard of sitelio and when i typed in my email it came up with only one email (the invoice).
It did come up with an ehost one though that upon reading, it said my free account was migrating to sitelio at FULL PRICE. When you click on the full price link it comes up with a Page Broken alert.
Ive sent a cancellation email because it says my renewal date is 7th January.

Terrible fraudsters and cheats. They sent me an invoice for a plan I'd never even heard of, let alone signed up to.

I tried to cancel my renewal. They keep trying to access my payment method even though my site builder account is cancelled and they confirmed same, and luckily it fails as my payment details have changed.
They say every day on receipt of that daily email from them trying to access my account, they will fix it and take off my email address; and low and behold I get another email telling me they want my monies.
Poor work for a webpage designing company, customer service is poor and no complaints procedure. They are in breech of GDPR but are not interested.
Don't get involved with this group
All went well until I wanted to cancel. This service is a typical bait and switch - come in with a low price, up sell and make sure you keep billing with barrier after barrier to cancelling (such as having to call them overseas during their business hours).
Despite ease of use and some nice templates, you don't want to get involved with this kind of company.

I made a huge mistake getting involved with Sitebuilder and wish I had looked on here first. They do not have a telephone connection that is real in spite of what it says on their literature. Try it, if you like. When you contact the online support because they have taken a large amount of money from your account, they fob you off with delaying tactics til you give up.
