Sipsby shutdown

I had purchased a year long subscription & had redeemed it after my current subscription expired in Febuary. Then they announced the subscription service would be discontinued- no details about current prepaid subscriptions being refunded in any way. Never got a single box from this subscription, $200 down the drain.

I really did love this company but this is ridiculous. I can’t even login to my account anymore, I think the entire login portal is gone. Extremely disappointing.

They took the money and ran

Was gifted a 3 month subscription that began in March. I received my March box, but no box in April. Have attempted to contact customer service across multiple platforms and by email and they refuse to respond. They literally took the money and ran. Do not trust this company with your money.

1. I’ve had multiple orders and it takes forever to ship.
2. Several times with different orders I’ve contacted customer service with no response.
3. They have sent 2 oz of tea when I ordered 4oz on a few occasions.
4. A couple orders took multiple months to receive.

My son purchased a gift certificate for…

Updated. Sipsby responds to reviews immediately, but to date they have not responded to my email or shipped my order. Also, yes, I ordered on March 6th, but the problem started before that when I had to contact them to ask for the code that they did not send automatically for my gift card. In fact when my son purchased the card, I did not receive even an email from this company until I sent an email to them requesting the code.

ORIGINAL REVIEW:My son purchased a gift certificate for my birthday. First, I had to contact them to get the code since they did not email it at time of purchase. Now, it has been one week since I ordered, and the order still simply says “received”—with no further action. Most companies are apologetic when it takes four days to ship, but this company only states there will be a delay AFTER you’ve spent your money,and that they will let you know whenever the order ships. Do companies really think it is acceptable to take money and not provide products in a timely manner and not even offer a timeframe? Our next step is the Better Business Bureau since they do not respond to emails and have no phone number. Need the funds used to purchase the card returned so it can be used at a company that is responsive, has contact info other than an email, and who ships in a timely manner.

i HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO ORDER FROM A GIFT CERTIFICATE. I HAVE TRIED SINCE MAY 2023 TO COMPLETE AN ORDER AND I HAVE EMAILED CUSTOMER SERVICE SEVERAL TIMES. I HAVE NEVER RECEIVED MY BOX SUBSCRIPTION AND NEVER BEEN ABLE TO TELEPHONE ANYONE ONLY EMAIL AND NOTHING HAS BEEN FIXED. IN THE MEAN TIME, MY FRIEND HAS NEVER RECEIVED A REFUND FOR HER GENEROUS GIFT.

I love tea bagged and especially loose

I love tea , was brought up in a Country that served tea as a custom so when I returned to the States I continued to drink tea. Now a whole new plethora of teas has been opened for me to try. 80% of the teas that have been in my monthly tea box have been 5star. The other 20% very good/4 star. Always a great day when I receive my tea box. I've also ordered my favorites from those boxes. Just DELICIOUS!!

I subscribed to sipsby two years ago and have never considered canceling my subscription. The service is fantastic. The teas are excellent. Any time I've contacted them with suggestions or questions, I've received a prompt response. Did I mention I love the teas? So great!

A Great Company with Passion and Integrity

This company does such an amazing job of personalizing its experience for you and ensuring that you are consistently receiving high-quality teas! This subscription box has helped me discover so many new teas, including ones that are now staples in my pantry. The customer service team is also very responsive and does a really good job of accommodating order most of the time. My only negative experiences have been occasionally receiving teas that do not align with my preferences/contain herbs I cannot have, which has been rare.

I enjoy receiving a box of teas custom curated for me. Each box presents a variety of tasting options and has introduced me to flavors and styles of teas I might not have ever been able to try otherwise. It's a chance to experience teas from around the world without having to leave my town.
