Okay so far. everything gone thorugh smooth on Simplyswap. I was kinda expecting something to go wrong because that's how it usually goes with exchanges. Didn't have to reload or wait. I pickedup my coins, made the swap and completed it faster than i thought.

It is a very good service, fast swaps, unfortunately I did not know they could not provide service in my country and also I thought they didn't require KYC... but after they allowed me to initiate a swap and I sent my crypto I then got a message saying I needed to verify my identification. but because of the country I was in they could not verify me... but their customer service was fantastic and especially Brad and they refunded me and sent all the crypto I had sent back to my wallet. So they are very honorable. I only wish I was allowed to use them lol

Simpleswap seized funds (290k).
Simpleswap was recommended as a 3rd party to perform a swap while using my non custodial wallet. I am very experienced in the crypto space so I performed three transaction. The first two were processed without any issues which were 70k and 90k in USD.
The last transaction was not processed and I was asked to perform KYC(know your customer) by the swap provider. I found this to be disturbing but I submitted and passed the KYC regardles, my funds were not released still. I had a back and forth communication with their support in which over 40 emails were sent in the space of a week but yet their responses had little to no progress but was rather generic replies that seemed coming from a script.
After a week I consulted with a crypto attorney and even other blockchain analytics and security firms in hopes of either a lawsuit against them or creating public awareness, the lawyers were not helpful and asked for huge fees but I found the security firms useful. Crystalhash.com, responded to my request by creating public awareness and contacting the exchanger's support with evidence of my wallet being clean and risk free. After a few days, I was contacted by Changelly that my swap was going to be Refunded.
I was successfully sent back the value as at when I sent it, I lost money as the price of the crypto increased between the time wasted but I'm even glad to get my money back. I would say be careful when swapping and make sure to check reviews about the exchanger before using their service.

Using SimpleSwap since 2018
I have been using SimpleSwap since 2018. I live in Washington state which like New York can be a bit of a crypto purgatory. Regardless with SimpleSwap I have been able trade any coin I want. Most exchanges are very fast, sometimes when the market is highly volatile it gets a bit wild. I have had a few snags over the years to which Customer Support responded quickly and resolved the issue. I highly recommend SimpleSwap.
